Simple Mobile Alcatel MyFlip, 4GB, Black- Prepaid Phone

With all of the gadgets now on the market, I still prefer the most basic and simple ones to operate. I have continued to use a 4G Alcatel Flip phone I have had for probably 10 years. Recently I needed to replace the charging cable and experienced several days worrying I would be without telephone service in the event I could no longer purchase one. To my surprise, found the correct charging cable and this cellphone on Walmart's website and purchased both. The NEW prepaid Alcatel Flip phone will be my BACK UP🤗

This phone was in like-new condition, and I've had no problems with it. but the charger supplied with it is cheap and the connector makes a loose connection with anything its plugged into. I tossed the charger. Otherwise its all good. USB tethering to external PC for internet works great. not standard Android interface, but sufficient and workable. works for me.

So far I must say I love the phone and service so far!

I'm 'old school' with my phone. I don't need anything fancy just something to make and receive calls on. Texting is a bit tedious but can be done and this phone fits nicely in my pocket at work. All I need!

I just needed something in case of emergencies, for my family and work. Simplicity and more freedom was what I wanted and that's what I got with the MYFLIP. I literally don't use it other than to make calls. The battery last me about 3 days. 2 days depending on my activity. Its a great phone for the elderly as well. Small, compact and easy to navigate.

I ordered a Simple Mobile Alcatel MyFlip phone and when it arrived, it was in brand new condition. Unfortunately, when I tried to activate this phone, I was told by Simple Mobile's Customer Service that the phone could not be activated because the sim card was expired. The phone was in perfect working condition, but I ended up purchasing a new sim card from Simple Mobile. Once I received the new sim card, I was able to activate the phone and it has been working well so far. I wouldn't recommend purchasing from this company unless you're willing to take a risk. I needed to use this phone right away and this sim card issue ended up costing me a lot of lost time. I gave three stars because the phone itself is in good working condition, but the company should do a better job by keeping track of their inventory and getting rid of old stock.

This 3rd party seller sells phones that are "locked" (but doesn't mention this in their walmart listing) I was told that the sim card inside the phone was expired. Even after putting a simple mobile sim card into the phone, the phone %23 wouldn't transfer and rendered this phone useless and the phone number was lost for good. This seller sells used phones and passes them off as NEW. I did get a full refund after I sent the phone back, so everything wasn't a total loss....just the phone was! Please don't buy a phone from this seller. Don't make the same mistake I did. RUN FAR AWAY FROM SELLERS LIKE THIS!

I purchased this as a new phone but when opened it found all the interior parts had been taken out of their packages and the phone had been used and no SIM card

Ever put windows 10 on a windows xp computer? This phone works about the same. Speaker is not loud at all, phone is very very laggy in all aspects, battery life is worse than that of a smart phone, and the key pad is stiff, so there is alot of missed letters when texting. Speaking of texting, it doesn't learn new words and it has the vocabulary of a 2 year old child, so manually entering is almost guaranteed.
