After extensive research and some hesitancy, bought this item for my kitchen. It replaced one of those popular “touchless” bins which lasted 3 months before the “touchless” broke. It was also so thin that it was bent out of shape by the actual garbage. Pros Modern design. Looks great in kitchen. Very professionally built. Very sturdy. Works well. Inner container is a plus. Stays opens when required and closes softly as stated. Strong foot pedal. Cover locks garbage bag in place and keeps smell out. Cons A little pricey

This will be the second can in five years we have purchased. We like the look of this style. It's easy to clean and the lid is quiet when it closes and doesn't slam shut. The liners are a little pricey but the fact that they are made to fit works out perfectly no slippage.

Can you love a trash can? Yes, I do. I've wanted this can for 2-years but it was so expensive. I just couldn't justify it… until 2-weeks ago. This is the best can ever. quality built in every aspect you could think of. I absolutely love it. I love that the step on goes all the way across the front. I love how easy it is to change a bag. I love how much trash it holds. I love that it came with a free air freshener to try out. simplehuman thought of everything. It is amazing! I only wish I didn't wait so long. It's worth it.

It is very quiet and user-friendly. We used this to replace a touchless battery-operated, automatic trash can as it only lasted us a year, and we kept experiencing problems and having to replace batteries every 3 weeks. Needless to say, this one was a much better experience for us and solved our disappointment with the previous automated one. We absolutely love it and are more than satisfied. It is easy to use, hands-free, and looks great in our kitchen. We get compliments on it often! We highly recommend it.

I have used Simply Human trash cans for several years now. The may cost a little more up front, but it is well worth it. I have also bought these cans for my daughter's family since they weren't able to replace the one they had previously and had used for several years. Highest quality and worth the price.

I love how it opens with the touch of the foot. The bags are a perfect fit and are stored on the back of the bin - very clean look.

I purchase this as a bridal shower gift and it's amazing ! And on other sites you pay shipping for it so it came out to be cheaper than I thought !

Like it very much had one but a stainless top but I like this top better easier to keep clean and does not show scratches or dents

What didn't I like? My brushed stainless steel, hands free, soft close lid (when I step on the bottom bar - convenient), came with odor control, I use 13 gal trash bags, simplehuman is high grade and top notch! Don't miss the chance to make it yours. I hate to say it, but it changed my life for the better. (I saved up for it.)👍

Customer Service no good. This garbage can came damaged w dents. I had one in the past that broke quickly. Won't order again.
