SINGER Stitch Gauge and Guide, 2pc Set

No more pulling out the seam ripper for uneven seams!! How did I ever sew without this?! The Singer Gauge and Guide is now a must in my sewing tools!

I really liked that the stitch gauge has a scant 1/4" hole. I don't like the guide because the adhesive does not stick very well to my sewing machine. it would come off of my sewing machine if I took to a quilting bee. So, I bought magnetic guides to ensure that my seam allowances were 1/4".

It is a helpful guild but it loses its stick very quickly.

Sadly, the perfect quilt-piecing seam seems to be somewhere between their 1/4 inch hole and their scant 1/4 inch hole. Their scant quarter makes my piece come out much too big. Maybe I can atleast use the seam guide for now after finding the right measurement through trial and error.

This item says it's removable and can be reused. I stuck the guide on my machine and had to get something to take it off as I needed a second measurement. It took a lot of effort to get it off and was fairly frustrated. I don't recommend this product and I will not be putting it back on my machine as I don't want to have to work to get it off again.

I didn't even open the package cause I read the back. You have to keep the strip of paper that exposes the adhesive part. I see that easily getting lost, and losing the stickiness after awhile. The concept wasn't well thought out. Returning it for the magnet version. Makes more sense.
