Well, Walmart has always delivered, and that is why I left such a nice review. Alas, my heart is broken with this item. Was this the much anticipated t-handled, extra strong plunge action designed sucker of drain clogs? Sadly enough, the answer is no. The seal broke on the first use, because the rubber wasn't attached to the plastic and everybody at the local Bangor store hates me! What a brush-off!
This plunger works so well, especially if you put the hottest water and fill the sink and plunge it as it goes down. afterwards, you can put a fourth of a cup of baking soda directly into the drain and then a half a cup of vinegar and let that go down the drain for a minute and then hot water again. Do not use anything really harsh like Drano or you could eat through your pipes.
I bought a cheap one though I figured it was a waste of money but turned out it was much better than the first one I bought for almost 20.00 where the rubber split open as I used it.
I was surprised how fast an well it worked. It was easy to operate and unclog your sink or tub drains. If you have HOT, HOT water in the sink it will bcuz it to fold outward and up. went right back then finished the job after the water cooled. It was easily cleaned and disinfected( yeah, OCD much!! ik ik) and fit perfectly under my sink needing minimal space
I only put a 4 star becase its not the same on from the picture. But the product worked great. It has a really good suction cup. Before we used it, we tested it out on our kitchen table. We used it on the bathroom sink. Did the job great.
What I received was a hand plunger. My original order asked for a toilet plunger.. but I didn't even get the one showing in the picture for this review What I got was a Rippled shaped sync plunger with a smooth hand all that needs the T on the handle I might have been happier if this picture had showed up but I actually returned it. Still hoping to find that toilet plunger , l o l The collapsible one may work on a sink. but it won't work for a toilet and it won't work for a shower. and that's what I needed. So when it comes to this one I really can't say
I ordered this item because I wanted a traditional style rubber plunger for my sink. What I received is the cheap bellows-type plunger, which I specifically didn't want. My order was for pickup and I initially thought that my local store picked the wrong item. When I tried to find the item in the store, I discovered that wasn't the case. The description and image on the website doesn't match the item they have in stock.
The plunger I received looks nothing like the item pictured. It does the job so I don't care to deal with a replacement. My item is one whole piece of pressure molded plastic, handle included, with corrugated walls, like an accordion, and a rubber seal at the opening. The handle is shaped similar to a gear shifter on a stick shift transmission. It's frankly more appealing than what I thought I was buying, another reason to keep this.
The item was by the same manufacturer but built completely different. It was also very cheaply made and it fell apart. The one I received was shaped with a gray handle with the cup made of coils and ridges. It was trimmed with a thin rubber ring around the bottom that came off! The one I wanted was a gray bowl shape on the bottom with a black handle. I requested a refund and seeing how poorly it's made I won't order the other one because it's made by the same manufacturer. NOT STURDY AT ALL!!
This product is not the product pictured. It's just a cheap hard plastic accordion style plunger that's even smaller than Walmart branded version. Its quality and comfort isn't better and it costs more. I'll be returning this junk.
