I'm a single woman that likes to do home repairs and projects. This one was perfect for my budget and my project is under my kitchen sink.

A very good Jigsaw by Skil
This is a very good Jigsaw by Skil for the money. I used it to help with the repairing of a cat shelter. I will be using it for many other projects as well. It is well built.

Power switch has a trigger lock. (seems a bit unsafe) Comes with a wood and metal blade and it cuts wood fast.

Pretty good
I purchased this for some diy projects after realizing that my old black and Decker was gone with the wind. I have used this now on 3 different projects and I'm fairly pleased. Easy to control and cuts effortlessly.

very familiar with the Skil brand. Have an old jigsaw @20 years old that still works. Decided to upgrade and buy me a new one. Excellent tool, great price.

New Skil jigsaw after 30 years
After retiring my previous Skil jigsaw which I bought new 30+ years ago, I decided to go with what I considered to be its modern day replacement. I got the 5 amp JS313101. Out of the box, I was immediately impressed. Blade changing is simple. The saw feels sturdy in my hand but not heavy. The handle is comfortable. The saw cuts well. I find it easy to use. It's powerful and sliced through the wooden tasks I've given it with zero problems. Got a free metal jobs coming up and I don't expect any problems. I'm confident that I picked a suitable replacement for my previous saw and I'm looking forward to it helping me through all my current and upcoming jigsaw related challenges. Thanks Skil!
