We bought this item for our back door and kitchen area of the house. It's not able to hold more than 40 lbs on the middle shelf, but it looks great and gets the job done. The sliding doors are awesome, makes it easy to put things away that you don't want guests to see. Putting it together by myself was a challenge but I managed. Direction make it a little hard to tell what side is from and back. Note: make sure to us a power drill (small one will work) to put the back on... there were at least 30 tiny little screws needed for this part of the shelving.
We got this for extra storage in our apartment kitchen. It is perfect. It looks nice and gives us that extra space we need but doesn't take up a ton of space in an already cramped kitchen.
This goes together with no problem at all. It looks good and the doors slide very well. I like it that much i will be ordering another one in the next few weeks.
My daughter was needing more storage in her new apt. This works great, just wish it was a little deeper (13" isn't very big). Was very easy to put together. Am looking at buying a second one (to stack).
I really like it. Looks great ...was not hard to assemble. Plenty of storage. Thinking of getting one for the living room for DVDs with a small tv on top.
We have a very small kitchen which also means next to no storage space. We bought three of these cabinets and stacked them. They are only 12' deep so they don't jut out too far and impede the space. We now can store our mixing bowls, small appliances, boxed food, etc. in a beautiful cabinet that not only adds space but style to our kitchen. The only negative we found was the sliding doors didn't stay in their tracks unless we shimmed the top area from the inside to force the track lower. Not sure why this happened. Tried loosening the screws to ease tension but it didn't help.
I was extremely pleased with the ease of following the directions and the quality of the product. All holes were pre-drilled, hardware a snug fit, & everything aligned as it should. I was using the cabinet as a base for a prep table I made. I added a 5'x24" top (from a desk) and added 2" castors., this brought the table to a height that will be perfect for rolling dough. On it's own I would have found the cabinet too small. It does not hold a lot of items, bowls yes, not my contact grill. I wanted to put appliances in it but had to settle for bake pans & bowls.
The product itself is of low quality , but what else can you expect for the price? Some pieces came damaged (one of the sides, the doors and the divider that goes inside). Then as I was assembling it, i noticed that it was coming out uneven. The pieces are not cut to the exact measurement to assure an even finished product. Also the divider that goes inside the cabinet is not wide enough. You have to center it because if you push it too far back then it'll sit barely on the fasteners on the front side. The cabinet is heavy but not sturdy, and it does wobble.
This is so far the worst furniture I had here. It looks nice on paper except for tons of design flaws that could be avoided. 1. the biggest issue is the design of doors. It only has wheels at the bottom and relies on a spring-joint blob to stay attached to the top of shelf. Nothing prevent the door to move front/backwards 2. This piece requires you to add 25-ish screws yet only 10 have pre-drilled holes. The remainings only have a tiny dot for positioning on one side, making it very prone to errors tl;Dr: don't buy this. I have to drop all the middle boards and doors
I ORDERED THREE OF THESE (1) WITH THE GLASS. MY INTENT WAS TO STACK THEM. NO WOODEN DOWELS TO STACK, SEVERAL SCREWS WERE MISSING AND NO SCREW HOLE PLUGS. IT WOULD BE A NICE PIECE OF FURNITURE IF THERE WERE HOLE PLUGS.ANYWAY, MY HUSBAND WAS REALLY MAD. HE HAD TO GO TO LOWES TO PURCHASE THE MISSING ITEMS. NEVER AGAIN
