SlimFast Original Meal Replacement Shake Powder, French Vanilla, 12.83 oz, 14 Servings

This is not just for those trying to lose weight. I have issues with getting proper nutrition due to health issues. I add a couple scoops of this to a large glass of milk or a milkshake and it adds the nutrients I need. More cost effective than the pre-made nutritional drinks.

I unfortunately have to have this Slimfast shipped because my Walmart doesn't carry it in store, so I have to make sure to buy it about a week before I run out! With everything else I have to remember it just adds to the running list in my head of things I have to do 😭 but this flavor is elite, it is the absolute best. Please listen to me and try this. 1 banana, 1 scoop Slimfast French vanilla, 6 ice cubes and 2 cups of your milk of choice, I like regular whole vitamin D milk. To that add a tbsp of honey and blend thoroughly. That's the recipe my mom made me growing up. Well, looking back as an adult, she was making it for herself, and giving some to her kids, just like I do now. But I like to add 4 medium-sized strawberries to it. Gives it a little extra something you didn't know it needed. But this shake is also really good with just milk!! Give it a shot, you'll love it just like I have for over 25 years.

I wanted to lose some weight, so I drank more Slimfast than usual and ate a lot of oatmeal. Lost 15 pounds in 6 months. I'm down to 130 pounds and I'm confident Slimfast was a big help. Cutting out the cookies and donuts didn't hurt, either. I'd recommend Slimfast if you're looking to lose some weight. You don't need expensive weight-loss programs, just some will power - and a lock on the cookie jar.

The slim fast meal replacement really works to keep you feeling full. But there's a catch… it is not good to rely on this product for long term as it is for short term ( trying to get a jump start) weight loss. The ingredients are not the greatest as there are some things that make you wonder. But it will help to curve away from eating big meals.If you drink this twice a day in place of two meals it can cut down on calories. But also make sure you observe the ingredients in the slim fast meal replacement bars as it is really processed. This is part of the plan for at least 6 weeks in addition to your really good healthy meal and snacks. I hope this information helps. To sum up , it may. not be for everyone especially the flavor. Comes in different sizes and flavors. Vanilla can be played with as you can add fruit or cinnamon or coffee. That is the one I am familiar with. Best thing is give it a fair try. If there are health concerns, best to check with physician before trying. This relates to diabetes, blood pressure etc. 🌸

pretty much the best bang for your buck as far as protein shakes and meal replacement checks go. and if you had plenty of different protein shakes you can agree that this brand doesn't taste as bad as a lot of them do especially for the price. so until they find out something crazy like it's made with lead or feces or ext. I'll keep buying it

Judging by the ingredients, there are better supplements, and I buy both the SlimFast and more nutritious protein powders for different uses. Both types of powders go well and easily mix in a blender with fruits and veggies in smoothies. On it's own with milk, SlimFast tastes really good and more like a traditional milkshake, while some of the other protein powders/meal replacements can taste a little funky or have grit. Both take a bit of effort to mix thoroughly by hand. For me, SlimFast can temporary reduce heartburn, and makes a quick handy snack, especially late at night.

It tastes good,but I may not drink it twice a day.It seems to curb appitite but I am slowing down on food anyway.I just wanted something light when I am just not hungry and it's meal time ,but missing two good meals is hard on my digestive system.

I bought this not really for its intended meal replacement purpose so if that's what you want it for just ignore my review. I make smoothies alot at home as its the only way I can get my 78 year old mother to be willing to eat fruits and veggies (she's going through her second childhood). I use Ovaltine Rich Chocolate powder and Ovaltine Malt Flavor powder to add in some extra vitamins and minerals and to give the smoothies either a straight up chocolate milkshake flavor or an old-timey Malt fruit shake flavor. Both products from Ovaltine are exceptional for this as they both contain decent amounts of vitamins and minerals and are strongly flavored enough that I don't have to use too much. So I bought this French Vanilla Slimfast to see if I could make Vanilla Icecream flavored smoothies. I didn't want to buy a vanilla protein powder as we're not looking to build muscle and I want to concentrate more on minerals and vitamins. On it's own, I find the Slimfast French Vanilla powder to be very cloying and chemically flavored, almost sickenly so. It tastes just like the transfat heavy creamers made for mixing in coffee. I'm going to try to cut through that by using frozen zucchini with milk or soymilk to see if I can make it taste better. Otherwise I'll just pass it on to a heavy coffee drinking neighbor or make iced coffee smoothies with it.

Don't know what happened, but just didn't like the taste or texture. It had a flavor that just wasn't for me. It may have been the tub it was in the smell was similar.

DO NOT SHOP WITH THIEVES !I placed a Walmart order on Walmart.com. in the amount of 307.07 to my address in Arkansas for the following morning. When I got up that morning it said my order was delivered but it was not at my door. Upon checking, Walmart system must have glitched which it hadn't done this in over a year and it reverted the address back to the last address I had used, which my mom had used to send my aunt a birthday present in Pennsylvania! This doesn't make sense to me because Walmart knows this is an ongoing problem and they have a fail-Safe in place. Where if you try to place an order that isn't near where your location is, a warning comes up asking you if you are sure that that is the address you want it to go to because it seems like you're a little far away, that did not happen. Sure that my address was selected before placing this order because this did happen to me a year ago. Granted it was only like three items but it got sent to my mom's work at the hospital. They promptly refunded me and told me they're aware of the problem back then.  Anyway, I contacted Walmart and spoke with them via chat and in fact I have one of the screenshots from that chat. Unfortunately wasn't smart enough to screenshot any of the rest of the chats because I was promised that I would never be charged for items I didn't receive and that the refund had to go in manually and I needed to wait up to 10 days. I also tried to put a stop on the $15 remaining item because it hadn't been delivered yet. They told me. No worries. You're going to be refunded. Just wait the 10 days. I then tonight received an email kind of generic stating that the order was delivered and that I could check it in the Walmart app and that no refund would be issued. I done had a conversation with Walmart course. This time they sang a different tune and disregarded anything I had been told previously and told me that there was no way for me to be refunded through them. Then I needed to dispute it with my card issuer even after learning that they are EBT funds and this is all the money that I have to feed my son and I for the entire month as a single mother! I also informed them that when I first received funds in January I had yet to use my card and the only place my card was on file was with Walmart.com and all of my funds had been stolen and used in Jersey. At that time I actually had correspondence with the Governor and there is a police report on that event. So this is now the second time that Walmart has stolen money from me. This is the second time my son is going to go without because of Walmart! There's no way for me to dispute and get my money back because it is not a debit card. It is government funds that Are designated for my son!! I don't see it is my fault that their system glitches, or the fact that I cannot dispute the charges and get this money back!
