This was recommended by my mothers PCP, as regular iron pills interupt her daily movements. This iorn pill helps prevent the back up problem Iron causes. My 84 yr old mother takes this daily and has no complaints.

Iron Deficiency Slow Release Tablets
Slow Fe Iron Supplement for Iron Deficiency. Slow Release Tablets, 45 mg, 60 Count. Through no fault of anyone but myself. I should NOT have bought this. I never opened it. It should not be used unless it is recommended by Medical advice after proper evaluation and testing. Otherwise, this could be damaging to your health. It is what it is, but it might be better if it required an initial prescription.

Finally! An iron supplement I can tolerate.
I can't tolerate any other iron supplements except this one. Every other one makes me nauseous. Once I started taking this it solved my anemia.
