Hardly get sick after taking

lauren October 21, 2025

I have really low iron and I hated taking most of the iron pills because it would make me so sick and so nauseous because I would take them in the morning but this slow release iron is great. I never get sick of it. I pop it in and I guess it slowly releases the iron in your body so it's not intense.

I have a slight iron allergy, so when taking iron supplements i tend to get bad migraines and constipation. I've taken this for two weeks and experienced neither as well as no GI troubles! I would still easy your daily dose of fiber, but there's no worries of it giving trouble.

Slow Fe for iron supplement

V May 14, 2026

I ordered 3rd times due to anemic for my iron supplements. It works. The side effect was darker color poops which was no big deal. I drank 1 tab with whole milk in a half cup in the morning first. Later eating. Only negative was the foil covering on the bottom that made it difficult to open.

Perfect iron supplement, no taste or smell

Sher January 6, 2026

This is what I've been looking for! I have severe restless legs and have been trying to take iron along with my med and magnesium, but I can't stomack the taste. I have tried so many! This is the only one with no taste. Plus it's slow release which is even better since my RLS is 24 hrs. It doesn't bother my stomach, and the pill is small (I have choking issues). Thank you thank you! I have already recommended it to a friend!

Effective Without the Usual Side Effects

caribgirlpa June 23, 2026

My child's doctor recommended an iron supplement due to low iron levels, and I spent quite a bit of time researching before choosing one. I'm very cautious about vitamins and supplements because many contain unnecessary fillers, and I was especially concerned about the common side effects associated with iron supplements, such as stomach discomfort and constipation. After reading reviews and comparing options, I decided to try Slow Fe. I'm glad I did because it exceeded my expectations. The slow-release formula seemed much gentler than I anticipated, and my child tolerated it well. We didn't experience the stomach upset that I was worried about, which made taking the supplement much less stressful. I also appreciate that the tablets are designed to release iron gradually throughout the day. That gave me more confidence that it would be easier on the digestive system than some other iron supplements. When we went back 3 months later for blood-work follow up, I was happy that my child's iron was within normal ranges. Overall, this has been a positive experience, and I would definitely consider purchasing it again if needed. If you're looking for an iron supplement and are concerned about digestive side effects, this may be worth considering. Pros: Gentle slow-release formula No significant stomach discomfort experienced Easy to incorporate into a daily routine Trusted brand with a long history Good option for those concerned about common iron supplement side effects Cons: A tad bit more expensive than some other iron supplements Tablets may be difficult for some people to swallow, although my child had no issues. (They are small enough in my opinion, but I know everyone is different.) Results can take time, as with most iron supplements (I would advise giving it at least 3 months of consistent ingestion)

Being a pharmacy professional I highly recommend this to anyone who has experienced stomach issues with iron supplements. I have same stomach issue with other iron products in past but SLOWFE is the best iron supplement I have come across in last 10 years which has not caused stomach issues as bad as other iron pills. Please try this. I take it after lunch with full stomach and whole day and night I don't feel any stomach pain, nausea or burning. It is pricey but worth it for people who really have hard time tolerating iron in general. Thank you.

These iron supplements are the only ones I'll use. The slow release formulation causes no side effects , unlike other brands that I have used. Since I have borderline anemia, my doctor recommends an iron supplement. These are the best!

If iron supplements aggravate your stomach then try these. I had weight loss surgery years ago. This made it difficult for some nutrients to do any good. While multivitamins helped, taking iron tablets was a nightmare. I always felt sick for at least an hour. If I didn't take them my iron level got dangerously low. Then a nurse recommended Slo Fe. These are the gentlest iron supplements I've ever tried. No stomach pain or nausea. THEY WORK, it's been over a year since I had to get weekly intravenous iron booster.

Reliable Iron Supplement for Sensitive Stomachs

Gray November 24, 2025

My daughter takes these, and they've been great for her. They've helped boost her iron levels without upsetting her stomach or causing the usual side effects that can come with iron supplements. The slow-release formula seems to make a big difference in how well she tolerates them. They're easy for her to take consistently, and we've noticed a positive improvement over time. If you need an iron supplement that's gentle but effective, this is a solid option.

Great Product, Doctor Recommended, Crappy Packagin

Debra March 11, 2026

The vitamin is very good. The process to get it opened and ready for use is a complete disaster. They say it is easy, but the film on the back is hard to get through. The paper backing is too thick. I have to get the scissors out and cut each individual pill out of the card. Very time consuming when trying to put a months worth of daily pills in the medical trays. I will be changing where I get my next iron supplement since this problem has been noted on their review for quite some time without the manufacturer taking notice and changing it.
