I purchased this spreader for ice melt for this winter. Scooping and spreading is very easy and makes fast work of the job. It has multiple settings depending on what you are looking to spread. It will come in handy for seeds in the spring and summer!

The assembly was easy, and it seems very durable. I like how big it is, so I don't have to keep refilling it to get the job done. This is way better than the swirling spreaders that get salt all over you. While it is good size, it is still small enough to work well with one hand. The scooper part fits snuggly and goes on and off stiffly, but that guarantees that it stays on when you need it to.

I like the Snow Joe spreader. I use it in winter to apply ice melt. It holds an ample amount of salt. It saves money by allowing you to regulate the amount dispensed. It's much easier than carrying the 20 pound bag of salt along.

It is a nice size. Sturdy and durable. Works well. The biggest problem I had was with getting it separated and putting it together. However I have weakness in my hands and that is what I feel caused this difficulty.

We got it for our church sidewalks and it works perfectly.

This item is very convenient and easy to use

The top was on tight, and it took me a few minutes to get it off. Then, when I put the sno melt in and went to put the top back on it was an issue. Could have some directions to make it easier. It's cold off but I took my gloves off. The spreading of the melt was great.

I bought this for grass seed, but it doesn't work very well for that. However, my sister is now using it for chicken treats and for that it works great.
