I haven't seen any more ants since I started using the Combat Max. This product would be great for anyone looking for an easy fix to their ant problem! The syringe allows you to place it exactly where you need it, which is nice with having pets around the house. The main ingredient, Fipronil, is fast and effective. It did a good job at getting rid of those little ants that seem to show up making a trail to my indoor plants after a few days of rain. All in all, easy to use and does what I need it to do. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited when the combat max for ants came in the mail because it's beginning to be spring and summertime which is a time when the ants are starting to create their colonies I placed the comet max for ants around my doors and windows to prevent them from entering my home and it has done a fantastic job if I have seen maybe two or three come by my door They instantly die and are dead when I see them so I would highly recommend this product. I had been having an on going issue with ants in both locations nothing I have tried has really helped. When the combat gel arrived I put it in the back of the cabinets and along the windows edges. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Combat Max Ant Killing Gel , all around the inside my house , and it's easy to apply , and I have not seen very many ants , of any kind , since applying. The only thing I had an issue with , was the plunger. You have to very carefully push it , otherwise too much gel comes out at one time and it's very thick , so a little goes a long way. So what I did was, I just spread it out further when that happened. No stinky smell and quick to use. I also like that you can use this outside too , and it's clear like see through. I can't say it works better than other products because it is unique but it has the usual active ingredients for killing ants. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never used an ant killing gel product with this sort of application, so I wasn't sure what to expect. First impression for some reason reminds me of how dentists apply the substance in your mouth when they're making impressions LOL It fits nice in the hand, is easy to get in smaller spaces due to the tip (as long as it's not too deep or confined). Not that it's a huge deal, but I do like that the cap is included, to help prevent the product from coming out after use, and that I didn't have to cut off the tip before using - it was ready to use straight out of the packaging. I'm not particularly fond of the application process, as far as pushing down the lever...at first a lot came out at once unexpectedly, then it was unpredictable. Sometimes a lot came out and others not enough, even when using the same amount of pressure. I cannot yet speak to the effectiveness, as surprisingly I am not getting nearly as many ants as I typically get by this time of year, and it has only been a couple of days since I applied it to an area of my window. The packaging does state that it provides control "in 3 - 5 days". Overall, I'm glad to be able to try this sort of product out, and would recommend that people get and try for themselves, as we can all have different experiences with any sort of product or experience in life. have purchased this numerous times. Latest tube the gel is clear NOT YELLOW like usual and the ants ignore it. Defective.

Not one ant has visited the Combat Max gel bait stations! Ants can be seen all around but not one enters the bait stations. We have accidentally left sweet food out on counters and the ants quickly come but none enter these stations!
