Southern Living Saucy Purple Salvia Live Shrub in 2.5-Quart Grower Pot

I chose this plant because of the beautiful color and the fact that the Hummingbirds love it. It's a natural food source for the sweet little Hummingbirds.

Difficult to find this particular plant in the red color in greenhouses nearby. I believe the stems and leaves are fragile by nature, so when they arrived I had a lot of pruning to do. Still waiting for new blooms. Holding my breath!

Those poor plants look terrible. I don't blame Southern Living or the packaging. It was packaged well. I believe it just took to long to get to me. They are in bad shape. I hope I can get them settled and rooted. Prayers. Three pics are out of the box. The other pics is after cleaning them up.

I purchased two and both arrived in decent condition (The Red Salvia Live Shrub). I also ordered a Pink Pentas and that one arrived in horrible condition, stems broken with the flowers on them. I returned the damaged Pink Pentas and received a replacement one today in WORSE condition than the first one! They must have "bent the stems to fit in the box and they arrived broken, snapped and many other stems were snapped and separated from the plant. Very disappointed twice with the Pink Pentas received in terrible condition. There must be a better method with shipping beautiful LIVE plants than the way this was shipped and received.

The plants arrived a bit beat up. One had a lot of broken stems after being shoved in the box. The other looked better. I ordered these last year and they were bigger and hadn't been chopped back which was better. These will survive but the quality of what they ship has gone down from last season.

Thises salvia were packed well, but kind of dry. There were a minimum of the red flowers when I unpacked them, and I immediately up-potted to see if I could bring them back. So far so good, but not yet a lot of blooms.

The plant was mistreated by Fedex, even though the box read "Live Plant" it was eiher thrown or turned upside down or both. Broken leaves and stems, plant half out of pot upon opening. It was disheveled. I am hoping it survives

Is it wilted and probably won't get any better, I planted it in hopes the sun will help it. I gave it food. I should never have received a live plant this way!

ordered 2 plants from this grower both arrived after 10 days. this one completely dead....as in no blooms or leaves and most branches broken off. I was able to get a refund from Walmart but still disappointed in the lack of quality and will not make any further purchases from this grower

Too fragile to ship, despite cardboard packaging. Delicate stems broken, leaves torn off. Very dissatisfied. Buy Larger, Well Established, Sturdy plants.
