SPAM Korean BBQ Flavored, Shelf Stable, 12 oz Aluminum Can

I was skeptical, but I actually liked it. I'm not a huge fan of spam having eaten a lot of it in the Gulf Coast area during most hurricanes, but it is a staple in our house. so I decided to try a different flavor and this did not disappoint. :) it's not that great sliced up and put in sandwiches, I found it best to be sliced and heated in the skillet.

I love Korean flavored foods and this did not disappoint! It's like the regular Spam but with a little spicy Korean kick to it. I like cutting it into thin slices and frying it so the sides are a little crispy. It goes well with rice or on sandwiches. I received the products for free in exchange for a review.

I got this for free as part of a promotion. I fried up some of this Korean BBQ flavored SPAM and made a sandwich. It was so good! I was expecting more of a sauce but it's like the flavor was infused into the meat, which was not only yummy but also much less messy! It has a little bit of spice to it but not too much which was nice. This will be something I look for in the store in the future!

This spin on the traditional spam product was fabulous. All of the people in my house, including my 40 some-year-old husband and my elementary and middle school age children ate this up. This was delicious with a fried egg and a scoop of rice. I highly recommend.

Thank you SPAM for the free product! I have to say that I was not expecting to like this as much as I did. I will be honest and admit that I am not a huge fan of SPAM but my kids love spam musubi and I make it often. This Korean BBQ SPAM was the best one I have tried and I actually ate an entire musubi. More than once. They have already restocked our supply for the next time.

The Korean SPAM is the best new flavor 1 have had in.. ages! It is slightly sweet with loads of umami snd very addictive. My favorite way to prepare this is to cube it up, sear it on all sides and add it to rice with an over medium egg. SO GOOD please never stop making this flavor.

Musubi is a staple meal in this house, so when I first saw this flavor come out I was so excited to try it. Spam knows what it's good at! I obviously made musubi with this and, as usual, it came out great, but this felt a little bit more specialized! I would definitely recommend pairing it with something to counteract the saltiness, but that's just normal for Spam in my opinion. With some steamed white rice, *mwah* perfect.

Tried this Korean bbq Spam with yellow rice, grape tomatoes, garlic, and onion and it was actually really good! I sautéed the Spam first and got it to have a nice crisp outer layer before dicing it up with the other ingredients and thankfully, it didn't disappoint!

I decided to use the Korean bbq flavored Spam in place of bacon in a fried rice recipe. The flavor was subtle, which I liked. It added a nice variety to otherwise regular rice. I'm not sure if I would buy it as often than the original flavor, but it was a nice change of pace.

Wanted to live this flavor as I'm a huge fan of Korean food in general (so I know a lot of the flavor profiles they use) and some dishes from various Asian cuisine. But this had an almost chemically flavor upon first bite and subsequent bites leaned toward the "artifical flavor" feeling. There is a heavy ginger aftertaste in my opinion as well. It didn't have a flavor profile like any asian cuisine I know (Thai, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese) aside from the lingering ginger flavor. So unfortunately this flavor was a miss for me and my family--especially my Korean husband who loves Spam otherwise. If changes are made to the recipe though, I'd give it another shot since I'm a fan of the brand!
