i've had to mount this at an elevation above normal water level in the pool. The gasket within the leaf/debri collecter mounted to the pump does not seal well preventing appropriate suction This makes the pump difficult to prime and maintain a vacuum, causing the pump to continually shut off

A very good pump for the money. The only problem is that you need to get a Number 20 bag of silicone sand. You need to get it from a pool store. After that is done the setup is easy. Oh SO NOT MOVE THE LEVER ON THE TOP OF THE TANK WITH THE PUMP RUNNING. Water will go everywhere. It will also damage the diverter.

Great filter/pump at great price! Super easy to install and has saved our summer fun by giving us a crystal clear pool that our grands can enjoy all summer long! ! All of the chemicals in the world can't give you a clean and clear pool if the filter/pump is insufficient and the one that came with our pool was not only way to small but used a paper filter. I was changing it every day and still wasn't able to keep the water clear and clean! Never again! This sand/media pump has been a total game changer! So glad I made the purchase!

This pump is absolutely amazing, the pressure this pump provides exceeded my expectations, I highly recommend getting this his pump for your above ground pool

Absolutely terrible instructions. I have no idea how to connect and keep the top part secured. Sand and water just flow out everywhere. I have had the product for 2 weeks and still haven't been able to use it.

No proper instructions, for the filter tank there is no marking of “Min” and “Max” sand level. It is so confusing how much sand to fill in. No customer care number in the manual. So pathetic

It should come with hoses to hook up to pool. The instructions were confusing and needed better diagrams. I've had to order hoses so haven't even got to use yet.

100% better then the pump that came with the pool. I recommend getting as an upgrade if you want to clean your pool less

Not the driver. Your prep people don't check items when loading. Last week I got dish soap that was 1/3 gone in back. of driver's car. This week I got fabric softeners cap was not tightened and it was all over bag. Also a bag of Pedigree dog food bag has a hole in it and was all in lady's car. I pay way too much every week to have this happening.

Worst product ever. No diagrams, no instructions, no explanation of what kind of lines, clamps or accessories are needed. This particular one came broken and now have to wait for days for a new one. Ridiculous customer service. Stay far far away from this sand pump or company!
