Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns Ready-to-Spray Concentrate, 32 fl oz

Took me awhile to write this . Needed to ensure that this worked , IT DOES . It kills weeds , not St . Augustine grass here in Charleston , SC . It does not kill Liriope plants either . I use hose on sprayer or pour the refill bottle into pump sprayer for small jobs .

I had a large area of lawn that was just absolutely littered with weeds of various types, including dandelion and crabgrass, among others. I did two applications of this product over a period of 3-4 months, the second application being to cover places that I missed. It kills the weeds. The thing that I love about this is that you can cover such a wide area with the spray. I had previously been using a pump sprayer, which would have taken me 2 hours to do what this application method handles in hardly no time. It is just so easy!

The best thing about this weed killer is how easy it is to use. You attach it to your hose and you spray the areas with weed issues. I also love that it doesn't kill the grass like other weed killers. It isn't the fastest to kill, it takes a few days, but it is effective. I usually do one spray and if I have have any left in the bottle, I do a follow-up spray the next day.

This stuff works well on my southern lawn of zoysia grass. Having first tried another product of “weed and feed” broadcast granules, I came away disappointed with the weed control component, so I searched for a weed-only product of another type. I found this product to be easy to use, effective, and a lot less finicky about conditions pre and post application. Basically it's a straightforward weed killer product that works, and which doesn't kill your grass. Fair price, too. Thumbs up!!

last year I paid like $400 for yards fertilizing services and it was a nightmare. I kept hving to call them out because I had whole patches of my yard that they missed ugh...this year I decided to buy thos as my lawn was overtaken with weeds. One application and my yard looks fantastic....I just so wish tht I wudve done it myself last year instead of paying all tht money for nothing. It kills all the weeds, even in my bushbeds...I dont spray directly onto my bushes but I do spray around them and it looks great. One app may be enough or you may need to do 2 applications. One in the fall and one in the spring.

It's less expensive and does the job. I didn't see the same weds growing again but I do have weeds issue so need something more stronger. It works better without diluting it with water as per instructions. So, don't follow instructions and use it as it is so its more concentrated and efficient.

This is the best weed killer that I had used. I never use it when the temperature is in the 100's. It will ruin your lawn if you use it during those temperatures. I use it when the temperature is in the 70's to 80's. It kills all the weeds and not the grass. I have been using it for years and have no need to try another brand

​Hooking it up to the hose and spraying the lawn was incredibly easy and saved me a lot of time. However, I'm not really seeing a huge difference yet. Some of the smaller weeds started to wither, but the tougher ones are still standing strong. It's definitely convenient, but I'm just not fully convinced by the results.

Not as satisfied with this one as I was with the non selective formula from this brand. It killed only a handful of the weeds in my yard. The other formula killed whatever I sprayed it on and saw immediate results in a few hours. I didn't see anything form this one until a few days later. I don't know maybe I did it wrong but it's pretty straightforward. The only thing is figuring out when it's empty because the design constantly fills the bottle up with water.

When I tried to use the product, I pulled the lever back and it broke off. I had purchased 2 bottles so I tried the other bottle and the same thing happened! I have used this product for years on my yard with success at killing weeds. I don't know why they Chet changed the packaging.
