Spirograph Scratch & Sparkle

Bought this for my niece, who loves to color and draw. She loves this! It makes beautiful designs and its nostalgic for me too bc i had some growing up!!

This was a gift for my niece and she loved the colors. It reminds me of the Spirograph I had as a kid and is great for anxiety.

The stylus does not work on some spots of the scratch sheets even when pressing down firmly. Besides that it's good and worth it.

this will be a Christmas gift, so I cannot give a review at this time.

I was not impressed with the black light paper at all. It put up a LOT of resistance, causing the wheel to go crooked and haywire, ruining the design. I remember having that problem sometimes, when I was a kid, but on this black light paper, that wasn't my fault. This stuff is tough! It also creates a ton of little black flakes all over the place, creating meh another mess to clean up. I gave up and used the Spirograph on 8x11 paper and a fine point ball point pen, like I used to when I was a kid. I'm WAY not a kid anymore at all, but it's still kind of relaxing to just sit there, carefully, steadily moving that wheel around and watching what appears as you do it. So Four stars for pure nostalgia, but clunk 1 star for that black light paper. Wanna get your kid a toy to teach them better eye/hand coordination? I would NOT get them this. Adults only. It's too difficult for most kids. Go with the Traditional Spirograph for the munchkins 8 %26 up and skip this one.

This one was a bit too hard for my son (7) to use. The scratch off paper is ""stickier"" and harder to use with the spirograph, so it skips sometimes and you have to go over the design several times to get it all scratched off. Very cute concept! I think it just may be better for older kids. We will keep it for when he gets older.
