This arrived as I was making cinnamon rolls, so it was just in time to be used for the filling. There's absolutely no way one could know that it's not really "brown sugar"!! This is definitely a 5 star item!! Now, if it were only a bit less expensive...
this substituted for regular brown sugar in every recipe I've tried so far without any problems or texture differences. I will stop buying regular and move to using this all the time. yes it's more expensive but as a person who needs to monitor their sugar intake, it's a game changer.
I am diabetic and, as such, am always searching for that sweetener which doesn't spike my blood sugar. This is it. I love peanut butter cookies and they traditionally use brown sugar. This gives that yummy "mom just made these" taste without shooting my glucose through the roof. I can hope other diabetics have the same experience but, for me, I will never purchase anything else.
Splenda Brown is a decent product for those looking for a sugar-free replacement for brown sugar. It's a little too sweet for my taste, and it's a whole lot more expensive than it ought to be. Other than that, the price through Walmart.com was the best I could find with free shipping for W members.
I am diabetic but I love smoked ribs. I had to find something other than regular brown sugar for my ribs and this is perfect. It measures and tastes just like regular brown sugar
Have bought multiple times
Delicious! Closest taste to brown sugar I have found.
This package was very expensive for such a small amount in my opinion. I decided to buy it and give it a try anyways. I opened the package for the first time, and the contents were hard and in a big clump. I spent several minutes trying to break it up. I tasted a little bit right out of the package and it does not taste like brown sugar completely to me. I added it to oatmeal for my family breakfast and after cooking it that weird taste was not there. It was just like brown sugar when I tasted it. I used it in baking some sweet potatoes for my family dinner and there was no strange taste. Was just like I had used regular brown sugar. I wish the price was lower. I am going to try to continue to buy this splenda brown sugar because it is a much healthier choice for members of my household.
I never thought that I would dislike a Splenda product. I purchased this mix with the intention of making peanut butter cookies well I made those today and they are simply awful and I mean awful please don't waste your money on this expensive product even though it is Splenda I'm so sorry but it is just horrible. normally when I make peanut butter cookies I use one cup of peanut butter 1 egg and 3/4 of a cup brown sugar and 1/3 of a cup Splenda or sugar the consistency of this was loose so I let it sit out for about an hour or so and he's thickened up a little bit but it just it it's not the same it doesn't bake the way it should.
wayy too sweet but also not in a good way, doesnt even taste remotely similar to brown sugar, tastes like rotten prunes. too expensive, waste of money.
