my 2 year old is autistic and has the common sleep issues that come with that. yes, it was recommended by his pediatrician and other parents. this works wonderfully. bedtime went from 12-1am to 9pm, he's out within 20 minutes. just know it helps them to fall asleep, not necessarily stay asleep the whole night. each kid adjusta a bit differently. some nights he will wake up, groggy but does go back to sleep around 1-2am, and he full wake up will be around 7am
I love buying this melatonin for my toddler he has autism and it's been really hard for him to get a good night sleep but this works really good for him it's sad that they don't sell it in stores no more just online and just to order that I have to pay and extra 6.99 for shipping
I love this. We've tried many forms of melatonin from many brands, but this is the only one that made teeth grinding stop AND does NOT induce nightmares! I'm very sad that it's not available at any of my stores anymore. I don't know what I'd do without it. I hope it's not discontinued.
The dropper is a bit of a pain but for the money and the purpose it works better than any other product. I usually put it in milk or juice for my son when he's having a hard time falling asleep, works 15-30 min time frame, i don't use the full dosage as my son is 2. I however use it sometimes and it works well. Taste is okay, very thick but not enough to make you turn away.
By far the cheapest liquid melatonin I've found. I don't care for the dropper in the lid. I wish it would come separately for those that don't like them, but otherwise it smells and tastes great while being the best price.
my son used this he's level 3 autistic and won't take gummies or any type of pills one squirt into his nighttime drink and 30/45 mins he out sleeping helps so much for school
I have 6 kids and you know the saying "there's always that one!"? Well, our 5th is that *one*. He fights sleep like a ninja warrior going to battle. Usually, if we can get him to be still and silent (always talking) it's enough to help his body shut down and pass out. But there are those nights that my husband and I just don't have the energy to wrangle this child to sleep and 1 dropperful of this is enough to send him to sleepy town. Like, we give him his dose, and usually are shocked because all of a sudden he stops talking and is just out. He loves it and we definitely like the option when we need it.
We struggled with getting our active child to bed. He sometimes needs assistance. Spring Valley Kid's melatonin is fast at assisting with sleep. Our child gets a good nights rest when he does need it.
It's super thick %26 messy. Wish it were actual liquid instead of so thick %26 gooey. It's hard to camouflage it when you can see it floating when mixed with other liquids. However, it gets the job done. It works. The bottle doesn't last long though because of the thickness %26 mess.
We usually use a different brand, but that brand almost doubled in price. I decided to try this one since we also like Spring Valley. This has the consistency of children's liquid Tylenol. it's gooey and gross. our regular brand is a clear liquid and has the consistency of water. In our house, water wins over gooey. It still does the job, but what's added to it to make it so thick and gooey? We'll pay the extra for the no additives.
