Let me first start by stating that this Battery charger is not complicated to use and is lighter weight than many older battery chargers', with that being stated I will now tell you about why I like this charger so much... Once I hook it up to the battery (which is simple) and plug it in to an outlet source with a press of one button on the charger I can check the battery voltage to see if the battery needs to be charged , with a press of another button the charger will start to charge your battery if needed, the digital display is clear and shows the amount of voltage and has auto shut off when the battery is fully charged. This charger also checks your vehicles alternator ( there's a button for that too). There are 5 different buttons on this battery charger but I have not had the chance to check them all out but I did charge my car battery that has been sitting about 6 months (battery was dead) and it took about half an hour. This will come in handy as I put my Mustang away for the Winter months and use my truck and older bang around car for the Winter, When ready to get my Mustang out again I will have this to charge up my battery in a matter of minutes and check the alternator too ! I think it's great and once I learn more about it I will most likely even like it more, It may do more than I am writing but I need to read up on it. It sure does charge great !
I found this STANLEY 15 Amp Battery Charger with 50 Amp Engine Start very straightforward to use. The LCD screen is very easy to see and uncomplicated to use. There is a 6 foot power cord and a built in handle that make it easy to operate. The control panel is simple to understand and make use of. The clamps are not too stiff to operate and go on with no difficulty It checks the battery as well as the alternator. It gives battery status, voltage, and amps. AND it has what they call a reverse connection warning so you won't charge it the wrong way! Because of all the above I recommend this to you…if I can do this so can you!!!
If you don't have a Stanley Re-Chargeit 50 AMP, then you need this great product This has all kinds of features you need, like a 50 AMP engine start, 15 AMP rapid charge and 3 AMP maintainer and the instructions are also included which l advise you to read first. The Stanley Re-Chargeit comes with a 6 FT AC power cord and storage for your cord. It has LCD screen with easy to read icons and multi selection control panel. You have two metal powder coated clamps. You also have two built in handles for easy carrying around. And the one touch automatic charging. I use this all the time on my vett that l keep off the road in the winter and when spring comes am ready with my Stanley Re-Chargeit, l even have my friends and family members who are always borrowing it, so this will make great gifts idea for everyone. And it has a limited 1 year warranty on it I can't say enough about this.
I like this charger because it has so many features besides just charging a battery. It's also anti spark and it will beep if you put the wrong cable on the terminal. Another feature I like is it automatically adjusts the amps while the battery is recharging. It can also check the alternator. It's a great charger to have on hand. It has more features than you would expect for the price.
This is a very good battery charger fairly small and compact charged battery in about 8 hours can be used to jump start a dead battery with the 50 amp boost the charger has an LCD display and easy. to use controls Comes with leads to attach to batteries and is way to connect
This is a small unit that is well put together. The small screen is clear and displays data that is easily understood. Excellent for battery maintenance which is what I've used it for. The electrical cord has a nice storage around the holding clips on the back. The electrical clamps are nice and strong but don't have a clear storage capability though you can wrap the cords around the unit. I definitely recommend this unit for keeping batteries charged and ready to go. I would recommend it for those needing a charge or for maintaining those valuable standby batteries.
I had my husband test this Stanley Re ChargeiT. This Stanley automatic 50 AMP charger, 15 AMP rapid charger and a 3 AMP maintainer. It is compatible with all 12 volt batteries. I love how small and light it is and that it allows you a six foot power cord which neatly wides up for storage on the back side. The clamps are made very sturdy and chunky not flimsy at all and can be clamped to the battery terminals from the front or side and these clamp cords look to be six foot long also. The screen is very easy to read and has a one touch charge button. We tested this on our lawn mower battery that we have been having trouble starting. We hooked the charger up and charged the battery. It was connected just one hour and it showed it was full. Then he used the reconditioner on the battery twice and he really loves this aspect of this charger. It sends electric pulses to help reverse the sulfate build-up on battery plates to help extend your batteries life. It also improves the charging of the battery. This small charger has everything you need and is made really tough with metal handles on the front that help protect the easy to read LCD screen and buttons. This unit also has a alternator check button along with the voltage level check button, the battery recondition button and the engine start button right on the front. This unit is a must have.
I received this item to test and try out. I have a Stanley charger in an earlier version that I have had for about a year now and have very much loved it more than any charger I have owned in the past and trust me when I say, I have owned many. This one is a newer version and I already love it very much. I like that it has a start function of 50Amp where as the older one only had a 40Amp. This one also has only a one minuet wait time for the start boost and the old one you have to wait for eight minuets. That is a big difference to me when you are in a hurry. I have the new one rejuvenating my car battery as I am writing this review. My battery was almost dead from sitting up longer than normal, so I figured this would be a good time. I like also the fact that it will go to float charge after it has fully charged. The display is neat also. It shows all that one needs to see at a glance. They both compare well to each other. This newer one is lighter in weight. When not charging certain batteries, I keep it and the older one float charging my lawn tractor batteries. I wish it had a storage for the clamps as the older one has. The only storage for this one is for the power cord. All in all, this is a very nice battery charger that is fully automatic. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of a charger.
I receive this free as spark reviewer, have a older small battery for a Dune bogey who I discover was nothing on, also a battery for alarm system. I try to charge both with the mode battery Recondition mode sealed batteries, for both the result it negative. For the mode testing alternator, all my vehicles or backup generator working good, I presumed the test is not appropriate. For the mode Engine Start, this mode was not apply on a dead battery but on a out road vehicle and for sure less than five minutes the vehicle get start as a full charge battery. Having 6 vehicles in garage alone retired driver for sure the maintenance mode for battery to be maintenances is a must. This Stanley re-charge in mode maintainer this will be a main tool and my test is conclusive this is was a fantastic and perfectly execution of 3 batteries differenced. Having multiple Stanley tools at home for everyone they are reliable for home consumer trusted brand. I give only 4 stars because I was not succeeding to recondition mode for 2 batteries sealed!
Thing is junk destroyed my battery that was less than 6 months old by over charging it Supposed to have auto shut off when battery is charged ,left it on over night next morning sides of battery were puffed out and now battery wont hold a charge for more than a couple hours Walmart wont replace the battery due misuse and claim I damaged the charger I guess setting it on the floor of the garage plugging it in and connecting it to a battery is misuse.
