This product was fantastic! This was my first time using a saw and working with wood, and the guidelines in the box made it super easy to make accurate cuts. Also the pegs made it easy to keep the wood steady as I cut! The only thing I wish was included in the instructions on how to use this saw was how to secure the box itself. I had reviewed somebody using clamps (the saw box has wings on the sides), but I found out that using screws to secure the saw box worked phenomenally! I attached it to my balcony and simply unscrewed the screws with my power drill when I was done sawing. (By the way, the screw holes are on opposing sides of the sew box.) Overall this product works really good!!

Cheap. Good enough to cut metal trims when I install my flooring. Cuts are not very clean but I did not have to do very precise job. I wouldn't use this miter for a 45degree clean to put together 2 trims and create a nice 90 degrees corners. I tried but it looks not good enough

Great product for quick cuts. I've even managed to cut 12 degree angles with it. Only complaint is that the plastic gets damaged slightly by the saw over time. Still, given the price it is well worth it!

I have had and used this miter box and saw for nearly three years. Despite its simplicity, it's probably one of the most trusted and reliable pieces in my arsenal. It holds up through the work it's put through. The saw has stayed as sharp as the day I bought it. Some folks like to use the power saw, but I prefer the old school way, and I'm happy to have Stanley help me.

It is what is is, and just from the price, one should know you get what you pay for. But part of why we chose this is because it's a Stanley, and it's pretty flimsy. The saw is basically throw-away, and the mitre box isn't as sturdy as it should be. But it should do simple jobs when you need one.

The product has many good features (e.g. sharp saw, pre-drilled holes for attaching the miter box to the work surface.) Unfortunately, the width of the saw blade cut was signicantly less than the blade guides in the miter box, so the angle of the miter cuts varied enough to ruin the joints. I was trying to cut thin corner trim, but had to recut so many times, I just gave up and the saw.

just opened box and the 2 black holders are missing. i dont understand when there is only 4 parts to the whole item how 2 can be missing. where is quality control?

Might have been better if all the parts were in the box. Package was retaped, saw was missing and the stops were gone as well.
