I have several hammers , but this is one of the best . The Anti-Vibe works very good ,the claw is at just the right angle. The hammer drove nails into 2x10 inch boards with ease. I really liked this hammer.
I used to have this hammer & it was stolen on a job but it is a really nice hammer. It was very comfortable to swing & the anti-vibe is a nice feature. I'm definitely getting another one.
I do carpentry for a living and this is one of the best hammers I have ever used. It has all the strength of a framing hammer with the size of a regular length hammer. It does it all. I just love it!
I own 5 Stanley fat max hammers different oz and sizes for the job I'm doing I wouldn't buy anything but Stanley hammers tape measures levels Chalk boxes etc. All I buy is Stanley products when it comes to tools for me thanks Stanley I'll use any tool you got great products [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've had this hammer for about three years now. As someone entering the professional construction field it's important to have quality tools. I was kind of worried about the handle getting worn out since it was just rubber, but the hammer has held up quite well and is in almost the same condition as when I bought it. I never put much thought into the difference a hammer could make until I switched from a blue handle hammer to this Stanley Antivibe model. Driving in roofing nails doesn't leave me with a sore forearm anymore, great hammer! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I jave been using anti vibe hammers since they arrived on the market. I read reviews on this new type of design tried one out and have been a frim believer in them ever since . The 20 oz. rip straight claw will tear or nail into anything. I own several of them even today. When I shop hammers I look for the Stanley Label, it represents people making tools that work, are engineered to last and made for the industry. Thanks Stanley [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have owned this hammer for years. I have only one negative with this hammer thus the 4 stars. I wish it had some type of grit or grip ridges on the head itself to help prevent slippage when hitting certain nail heads. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've put mine through a lot, concrete and mud are rough on tools, I've used my Fat Max Anti-Vibe 20oz hammer on remodels and forming up footers for a few years now. Holds up and hits hard what more could you really want [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I had a Stanley 20 oz rip hammer with “magnetic nail starter” feature. Unfortunately I lost my hammer and wanted to buy a new one. I cannot find a 20oz ripping hammer with that feature anymore. I can only find heavier ones. Why Stanley, did you remove that feature on the lighter hammers? I am very disappointed you have done this since I used it all the time. Other than that i loved your hammer because it has an oversized head for hitting.. I only gave it 3 stars for that reason only..
