Star Trek - Enterprise: The Complete Series (Blu-ray)

This is the final series in the Star Trek legacy and the most powerful. The series explains and answers a lot of questions about the beginning of Starfleet and how the first captain of the first warp five starship made an impact on the galaxy and the adventures he takes learning about the universe. Also many of the races from other series are introduced and some are ones never talked about in other series. The main plot throughout most of the series is a temporal cold war that affects every aspect of their mission. Throughout the series the characters are expanded and new areas are explored for each of them. I think this is the best series of the five and this is a must have for Star Trek fans.

Blu ray is better picture and sound. It's a4k Samsung tv and I can tell It's better ! Enjoying it much !

HD resolution is awesome. I wished it came with an episode booklet instead of the micro print behind the cover. Also, might want to wait a bit before buying because the day after I bought this Walmart reduced the price by almost $10, bummer

Cinematographically speaking, this series is high quality. The special effects are awesome. However, there were a few things that made me not like this series as much as all the other "Star Trek" series. First, the casting. The actors are great actors, but they didn't seem "distinctive-enough" to remember. Two of them looked alike, and in the first two seasons one had to put attention to which one was saying what. The two had distinctive accents, one Aussie and the other was supposed to be from Florida but had a Texan accent. These accents were so bad, and they mumbled so much, that I had to turn on the English subtitles for the sharp accents. Second, the story. The stories, before the temporal war thing, were good, but not great. The temporal war was good, but for a ship that existed before the tin can rust bucket that was the original "ST", it seemed too complicated, too complex, too advanced. Third, they at times over-did it on sensual scenes. When I watch Sci-Fi, I want to see science fiction, not someone's thighs or other body parts while they're covering each other with decon cream. Last, the theme song. It is not space-like, it's more like grunge. Overall, it's my least favorite of the "ST" series, but I HAD to watch. It's a good time-waster. :D

Dvds were ok but case was broken and the splines that held the dvds many were broken.

The item was received quickly. The packaging is just like STNG - Complete Series (Blu-ray). When I started to watch 1st disc, the pilot episode stuttered during playback. I tried this disc on 2 different blu-ray players, still the same result. I returned to Walmart and received a full refund for this "defective" item. Other reviews talk about this same problem. Seems to be a manufacture problem.
