Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (Blu-Ray + Digital Copy)

The end of a 4 decade saga. Was wrapped up good considering the mastermind of it had no part in the last three movies. still done fairly well. Could have used a little more Luke in the last three, especially since they are calling it the Skywalker saga.

The experience of not waiting in line, the smell of the used seating, the sticky floor and large hair are nothing I want to pay for. I will always wait for the DVD release since BLU-RAY is the norm.

If you are a true Star Wars fan who has followed the series from the beginning, this is a beautifully fitting wrap-up to an epic franchise. JJ Abrams honors the original characters and intent, unlike his predecessor, who made a fine stand alone movie, but one that took the franchise drastically off course. Abrams rights the ship, honors the characters and stories, and brings back the epic Star Wars themes and plot twists with this incredibly well-done movie. A satisfying finale to (imho) the greatest movie franchise in history!

I thought the earlier movies were terrific. I also thought that they were a little corney and were certainly not dark enough and needed to have more confrontation between good and evil. Episode IX is for lack of better words, a great movie in my opinion. When I first saw Rey I knew she was going to be paramount in this story. Funny thing, they left the ending wide open for the story to continue.

My spouse is a huge Star Wars fan. He said this movie was the best movie out of all of the other Star Wars movies. Best story line, bestvacting, best graphics. Hes wayched it 4 times in the last 4 days. Im not a fan of this series, so ive grown tired of watching it with him every day. LoL

This is a great movie! I watched the first movie (episode IV A new Hope) at the theater when I was 11. I was hooked ever since. Even though there are small issues with the story here and there, due to different directors, this was an expected trade off in order to have a completed saga. Each director did a great job with what they had to work with. Daisy Ridley's character "Rey" was outstanding and a pleasure to watch. She has become my favorite character in this entire series. This DVD is well worth the money, and I intend to buy the 3D version when it comes out.

This movie was outstanding!!! It brought the entire Star Wars episodes to a completion of closure and yet with optimism of the possibility of a continuation of the ending. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Looking forward to watching it again.:-)

It's a good 2hr 20min. movie that does it's best to answer all the questions that remain about this series. It dives more into the characters stories, so it's not as non-stop action-packed as you might expect. Will admit, there was some bad CGI in a few places, however the storyline plays well. The movie aligns with many popular and critical reviews out there. If you love Star Wars, then it will still entertain.
