Starbucks Pike Place Roast, Whole Coffee Beans, Medium Roast Hot or Iced Coffee, 28 oz

I am not a terrible fan of Starbucks; but, having said that, their French Roast whole bean is the best coffee I have had for over sixty years. Additionally, the price from Walmart is fair and delivery exceeded expectations, unlike Starbucks and others whose prices are outrageous and their is no delivery. Hat off Walmart!

For over 10 years we used Starbucks Medium Beans in the 28 ounce bags. For no apparent reason it was discontinued everywhere! So we have adjusted to Starbucks Pike, a close 2nd. Coffee is becoming so expensive, this is a value for home ground beans. I REALLY recommend it in hopes that you all will keep this on the shelves!

This is my daily coffee. It’s a darker roast and works great with a pour over. The aroma lingers in my apartment and is intoxicating. The brand is always fresh and worth its price. You will not be disappointed once you grind your first cup. Reviewed by a happy WM Associate

I love Starbucks coffee both served in their store and made at home with my coffee machine that grinds and brews it. I was buying the coffee beans from other places and had not considered getting it from Walmart. It's at a much better price and is fresh. It is shipped and delivered quickly. This Walmart purchase makes me very happy 😊

I drink a lot of iced lattes which can be expensive if paying at the store. This 28oz pack of dark French roast is not only a great value, it is the same consistent and predictable delicious flavor bag after bag which is important. Flavor is wonderful, full bodied like you'd expect a dark roasted pure Arabica to taste with none of the bitterness a Robusta blend would bring. Light-roast, fruity-note connoisseurs and anti-charcoal snobs need not apply. These are wonderful beans for your dark-roast Italian espresso types and latte/cortado fans.

Starbucks French Roast whole bean was out of stock at my membership clubs, so I'm glad it's back at Walmart. The only thing I found disappointing is that the 2.5 lb. bag has been downsized to a 1.75 lb bag. It's what I call "shrinkflation", making the package smaller and keeping or raising the price. I would much rather just gat a price increase without the shrinking package. That little marketing trick is silly and it doesn't fool anyone. Shame on Starbucks.

Give this a try if you like Starbucks coffee without the accoutrement that may seem to prefer. I usually find Starbucks coffee to be overroasted. Pikes Place doesn't have this issue. It produces a nice espresso or Americano when used in an espresso machine.

This is our favorite coffee which deserves 5 stars. However, it’s hard to find and quite expensive. we normally buy a 40 oz bag at BJs but the stores near us havent had the beans in a couple months. this 20 oz bag at Walmart cost almost as much as the 40 oz bag at BJs.

One star not for the coffee, but for theft. The 28-ounce coffee bag seemed "light" and, after weighing, weighed only 21.5 ounces, 6.5 ounces less than stated on the bag. The bag itself weighs slightly less than an ounce. Not sure if the theft occurred at Starbucks or at Walmart, but my delivery time was given twice and delivery was 27 minutes after the first delivery time.

Buying the 6 bags offered at a decent sale price I thought would be a good idea but not DO NOT DO IT .Every bag I've opened the coffee smells and taste different . its like they put another cheaper coffee in the bags .taste nothing like my usual Starbucks french roast .I will Not order again .
