The large size can provided for family size portions which is quite convenient. There was enough for left overs the next day as well. Walmart took an extra step in packing the 2 cans inside a frisbee to hold them in place during shipping, preventing the cans from denting! Well done walmart!
I always lean more towards canned meat (chicken or tuna) even though Walmart is the most careful with the handling and preparation of their meats and poultry. The shelf life is longer and it's very tasty. I tend to waste a little more money with fresh poultry because I feed stray cats and with the weather being so cold it doesn't take long for their dinners to become frozen and covered in snow even though I try to get it to them around the time they show up. A wonderful woman allows me to house and feed the cats on her property and I know there are so many wonderful people who are helping the strays. You are all such wonderful people!
I have been eating this tuna for several years and enhance its taste by mixing it in with sweet relish. The watered version is healthier and less messy to clean up afterwards than the oiled version is, so I eat only the watered version. The price is good and the can size is enough to satisfy me.
IF YOU %26 YOUR FAMILY LOVE TUNA THAN YOU KNOW THE NAME STARKIST TUNA! IT'S STILL AT THE QUALITY LEVEL, AND AT WALMART IT'S PRICED RIGHT! I ALWAYS GRAB 3 OR 4 CANS OF THE 12OZ TUNA IN WATER. GREAT WITH CRACKERS, ON TOAST, OR IN A SALAD! DON'T KNOW THE BRAND? TRY IT FOR YOURSELF! .
Perfect size for flavorizing my weekly tuna noodle casseroles. My family never gets tired of my old time recipe. I drain the liquid for the “not too fishy “taste.
Its Tuna! You can't wrong with this canned tuna. Just slap some mayo, and maybe a little mustard on it and mix it up and you have a delicious easy lunch or dinner.
It had a texture that was very gelatin like and had several blow ups of what I can only guess was fat that did not dissolve even when mixed with other ingredients it made me think it was the bottom of a barrel product leftovers from where they processed the tuna
I thought I would give this a try, but found out that I would prefer the tuna in oil. For those who like there's in water I would recommend it to them.
When I order tuna for curbside pickup, I find that many of the cans are deeply dented. One even leaked out on my other grocery items. I had to go back to the pickup location 3 times on one order to get non-dented cans. On another order I had to go back to the pickup location yet again to get undented cans. Check your tuna cans before you leave the pickup location to make sure you have clean, undented cans.
It's like a can of salted sawdust in water. I can't even identify what part of a tuna this would be. The part scraped up off the floor after the good pieces are cut?
