Love it! was razer user untill I tryed this and i will never go back. This board and rest are great with fps and keys arent to loud like some otherr models.
Feels like a solid quality keyboard. Nice clicky keys, vivid colors and effects and a lil screen and scroll wheel. pretty cool 👍👍
Awesome keyboard but all the cool features to show heat and cold are ONLY available in Celsius. Seems like Steelseries cant update internal software. Just odd.
Works well, switches are clean. Keys are Not quiet, subtle noise - just not silent. Apex 5 is a GREAT value, analytics show response ms are way over this price range !!
Works great
I've had a different type of keyboard before, TKL, switches were just mechanical which meant I had to add silicon circles to deafen the sound as it was a bit annoying after a while. This one is completely the opposite, while loud as you'd expect from a mechanical keyboard, the hybrid membrane does make things nicer. Full-size, keys are soft, RGB is customisable per key. It's a bit of a try and fail until you figure out the software but it's overall great. The OLED si always nice to have though I don't use it extremely much, other than having a little gif playing on stand by. It's worth noting that if you use certain configurations for Discord or games, your setup will automatically use that setup so it may be confusing or you may think it's not working as it should. The fixed cable isn't something I necessarily like coming from a detachable one, but it's not like I take it out of port daily, it would've made things better for cleaning but it's okay.
giving a 4 star overall due to the keys yes its a mechanical keyboard but its quiet conpared to what youd expect from a mechanical keyboard yes i still like it and enjoy it and its great quality
Looked for a (mechanical) upgrade to my old G510, and it's great. Really needed a display just like my G510, but its hidden quite a lot by the numpad which is shame. Also the fanmonitoring software is no longer supported due to a vulnerability, which isn't a Steelseries issue but STILL isn't fixed.. Great keyboard, but the extra features need some work.
The letter keys (QWERTY) are great - a nice font and bright keys. But the numeric and special keys have the shift character BELOW the main character which is really confusing. I know you've done it as the LEDs are at the top but why not do what others do and have them next to each other? The right side control keys (Ins, Del etc) have huge M1, M2.. characters and tiny INS, DEL... characters. M1, M2 etc doesn't even mean anything so why make that so prominent? Then the number pad keys don't even bother showing the non-numlock characters (arrows, Ins, Del etc). I bought some PrismCaps as I could see they had the proper notation but they use a different font and aren't as bright. Why do your own replacement keycaps not use the same font? It's a well built keyboard with good software that's totally let down by the key caps.
junk, used it a few days before input lag from keys ruined games. keyboard is garbage
