Straight Sewing Pearlized Pins (30 Count)

The pins are more on the heavy side than the others I've had. They don't tend to bend as easily. I love the length and how well they are made. The only reason I gave them less than a 5 star, is the fact that they are not very sharp. I do find them hard to push through fabric, even when pushing through a couple of 100% cotton quilt layers. I purchased 3 packages and they are all the same as far as sharpness, so it wasn't just a bad package. Also, the pearlized ball end seems to be attached well; I haven't had any pull off yet. These pins are steel, so they are magnetic.

Many of the pins shafts had to be scraped/sanded to remove excess plastic flash,that done they are properly sized and useful,no problems with heads coming off.3*'s

I liked the long length of the pins. However, these pins are not sharp and when I used them on my satin fabric, they were hard to push in and caused snags in the material.

A lot of them were bent and the balls that serve as pinheads come off easily. They are also a bit thick in the stem. You don’t get very many. The pack with 100 in regular colors is a much better deal and higher quality than these. I would not buy these again.

Great length - perfect in fact for my current projects, about 1 3/4” long, they also haven’t bent or lost shape, BUT they’re not sharp. Ordered on the fly as I hadn’t planned on needing them. Have used them on only 2 separate fabrics; 100% cotton then sa knit blend (cotton/poly/spandex?), I have to sort of argue with every pin and coax them to go through the fabric. They snag on the fabric and almost seem to catch when removing from the fabric - more so with the knit blend. I don’t know that I’ve ever used pins that perform this way. I won’t buy them again. Once at home, I compared the needles I already had, using the same fabrics,,, the old pins are so much smoother than these. I understand they’re an “inexpensive alternative”, however, I’m disappointed an item of such poor quality was released for utilization in a trade that some folks count on.

The only good things about these pins are the length and price - that's it. They are thick, not sharp, and do not slide through fabric very well. Save your money and buy better quality pins - not these

Rusty and pitted but in a new package? Dull tips. Pins are so rough you can feel the pitts and bumps when you rub finger on edge. Impossible for sewing or quilting. Might be useful for hot gluing in place for crafts, but that's it. Avoid purchase. Waste of money.

Purchased these pins to hem some drapes. Unfortunately the shaft of some of the pins is very rough. My new voile drapes were snagged several times. Do NOT advocate use of these particular pins..

Whomever packed my box, knew one pack of needles was completely open, when I opened the box, the needles were everywhere and it was missing 10 of them. The person who knowingly sent them should be fired!!!!!!!! With the pictures I sent you can clearly see it wasn't a small rip, it was the whole top piece. That's not okay!

I would highly recommend this item if it was available. If your item is not available when placing your order, you should let the customer know in advance that the item is not available before placing their order. You should not wait to go to pick up your item, to find out that your item has been canceled when you get there.
