Sun Joe 24V Cordless 5-inch Handheld Pruning Chainsaw, 2.0-Ah Battery & Charger

This little Sun Joe 24V -5-inch, chainsaw is great! It's small (so it wont cut down a large tree) but blade is sharp, lightweight, and rescued me more times than not for clearing my road where trees have blocked the way. I love it! Tip: Be sure to keep battery charged!

Really Used it for the 1st time last week. Cut brush and branches for about 2 hours non -stop. No problems, no hesitation, no problems with the battery Even took it apart in the yard where we were working to clean out cuttings stuck between blade and housing with no difficulties. After cutting all that brush, we had a 4' long, 6"wide, fallen, green branch which he cut into 5 manageable pieces with ease. Much easier than pulling out the chainsaw

First of all my saw came Early! I unboxed it and took a look at the book. After checking the battery and finding it is charged, I went outside and had fun!! This Saw is very light! And it's very easy to use. I had some small trees blown down by the high winds we've been having. This Little Lightweight Saw cut through those trees like a breeze! It's powerful, easy to handle and use. And at 67, after using it for about an hour, I'm not sore nor have any pain from holding it nor from it's vibration. This is a nice yard toy to make yard work easier.

it is a great tool for cutting up small branches

I love the fact I don't have to wait on my children or grandchildren to cut something for me. My SunJoe is so easy to use and does a great job. I am in my mid 80's and have no problem using this minichain saw.

Am surprised and pleased with the quality and power to saw wood

I followed the recommendations for breaking it in. Afterward I used it for about 15 minutes and noticed the chain needed tightening. So I went to the manual and followed the instructions on tightening the chain. When I went to use it again, the chain immediately became very loose, to a point it would have been dangerous to use, so it was tightened again. Same problem, multiple times. We will try to tighten it one more time then it's going back to the store.

Initially, I really loved it until I had to tighten the chain. It won't stay tightened...I use it for less than a minute and have to tighten again. Over and over. I think I might have a damaged unit and will be exchanging it.

Received used item. Didn't even bother to open it to confirm as the box had clearly been taped back up with packing tape.

I liked the size and feel of this pruning saw so, when I couldn't get the battery to lock in place, and the saw would not turn on, I returned it, and ordered another. I received a saw today, and again, the battery will not click in. The packaging indicated the box had been opened and resealed. Did I get the same defective product? Is this refurbished? I was under the impression I was ordering a “new” saw. SO disappointing!
