Sun Joe Manual Push Reel Lawn Mower with Grass Catcher, Adjustable Cutting Height, 16-Inch

I love this thing! I was totally skeptical when putting it together, but totally surprised. I have a moderately sized back yard and relatively moderately sized front yard. This thing cuts better than I ever expected. I call it my "mee maw grass cutter." Very easy to use (my opinion) and doesn't wear me out. I highly recommend it if it suits your needs.

It's nice to have this manual cutter at our Fort McMurray home when our backyard having pebbles so normal grass cutter machine with gas can work well ..👍

It was easy assembling it.Used it once only so far on a previously mowed lawn.Just had issues with the blade getting snagged on small wood branches or chips and stopping until it was removed. It does not eliminate weeds though unless you run over it a couple or more times It does make a slight noise while running it but other so far satisfied. Hope it will last for a long time :)

I love the reel mower. It does a great job cutting and moves easily around the trees and beneath the hedges all the way to the trunk. I would give five stars but it stops turning when I go over the smallest twigs. It's easy to pull back and move the twigs free but it's just inconvenient and irritating when I'm on a roll. There's no vibration like with a gas powered one so it gets to being a more enjoyable task than others to mow the lawn.

the tool is easy to assemble and use. Just during the usage, I lost the clap connector for grass catcher to the Mower. Could I get one, as it is within warranty. I purchased last Aug.

Product works well and is light and easy to use. Well made. I used it in the early spring before the grass started growing like crazy. I'm mowing a pretty small yard, probably about a tenth of an acre. Once the grass began growing like crazy and there's lots of rain, you can't mow often and the grass gets too tall. Of course this makes the mowing much more difficult, you'll need a lot of energy and have to adjust the height in order to properly mow it. If you live in an area where there's not much rain or perhaps later in the summer, it would do really well. If you live in the southwest, an arrid area this mower would be perfect, for a smallish lawn. The only reason I gave it a four out of five is because I think a mower with more blades would be better. Nothing wrong with this one, great well made mower, works grwat. You may just need more stamina than my old butt has to get the job done...

I recently downsized lawn and wanted a quality, well made reel mower to replace my heavy gas machine. While somewhat skeptical of the effectiveness of manual mowers ( based on past, unpleasant experiences), I was quickly convinced that I had made a good decision in purchasing the Sun Joe mower. Easy to put together, sturdy, and effective for my purposes, I now actually enjoy mowing my lawn whereas in the past it was simply a chore.

Assembly was pretty straightforward. The blade is *really* sharp, so definitely be careful when moving around with it. I have a small yard and it cuts grass with ease, but the bag wouldn't stay up to catch most of it. I was hoping it would also cut, catch, and bag fallen leaves across my yard, but leaves seemed to slide under the blades. The blades often got sticks lodged in them at all height settings, which stopped me abruptly. I recommend wearing work safety gloves to dislodge sticks from the blades.

If you have a flat 12x12 yard this would probably be okay. Will not cut through any type of weed. Stops everyeverytime you try to go through anythig. Would not recommend this product.

The right wheel completely broke off the mower 10 minutes into first use. It's a shame because I like Sun Joe products. But this one did not meet expectations.
