It's always a gamble when choosing colored items online, but these are perfect. When I opened the package it felt really light, so I thought they would be too thin, Nope! They block 100% of the sun that was waking me up too early through my French doors and window. They ironed up beautifully too.
These well-made insulated blackout curtains in white were exactly what I was looking for and do the job perfectly. Excellent vendor and fast delivery, thank you.
These curtains are great. They came in very wrinkled and creased so need a lot of ironing. But the overall appearance is very good. The thermal component is very effective. Great buy long wait time.
I like everything about these curtains. I got them in the white color and they block out the light very effectively. They have thermal backing which I think is helping with keeping the cold out on a large north window. They wash and dry easily. There will be some wrinkles when taking out of dryer but they disappear after hanging on the rod for a few days. There is no chemical smell to these curtains. They are a medium weight curtain. Nice fabric. Pleased with the purchase and quick delivery.
I absolutely love these. I got the light/medium blue, 50/84, 6 panels, grommets. They are 100% blackout! I have very large side to side sliding windows facing south and west both of which get extreme light and heat. I become sensitive to extreme heat/cold and light some days and also must sleep during the days sometimes which is why I’ve been looking for the blackouts. I chose the color because I’m trying to give my master bedroom a spa like affect with lighter colors and it matches my quilt and chair. I highly recommend! To get the initial wrinkles out, I lightly misted with water and put them on low heat, dewrinkle cycle for maybe 10 minutes. The rest of the wrinkle will straighten out as they hang over time! Also my rods are very close to the top of my windows. I’m sure if you have yours even an inch or so higher the light won’t show like mine does. Perfect!
I ordered the white curtains and they do a great job at blocking the light. The only light thats visible is at the top where the curtain rod pulls the curtains away from the window. Smooth finish fabric with white/light gray backing. Solid weight to them. Both images shared are with the blinds slatted open behind.
good width, color (dark grey) is rich looking, tho needs a light ironing, covers the light very well, great price too!
I ordered 2 panels, everything looked great till I hung them up. they both came wrapped looking identical, still neatly folded as though they had come straight from the factory. after hanging them up I realized one of the curtains was about a half inch too short, the stitching at the seam on the bottom was completely different, and there was a hole in the layer that blocks out the sun so from the opposite side during the day it was clearly visible. however this must have been noticed at some point at the factory and to conceal that fact they put some type of paint over it which is clearly visible. I doubt this was done by somebody who bought it and repackaged it, it was packaged and folded as though he had never been opened before. I've since ordered another panel and will return this one in hopes that the new one I order is fine and this is just a defective one.
The pictures show a linen texture but it's simply printed on the surface. the curtains are smooth, plastic and remind me very much of a vinyl table cloth one would use on a picnic table or a cheap shower curtain. In fact, these might be used as table cloths next if I find better quality FABRIC curtains in my preferred color. The cedar orange looks very close to the pictures. They are dark tan or light brown...not so much orange, but exactly what I was looking for. They come with very deep-set wrinkles. An iron (with a cover cloth) did little to remove them. I ended up steaming them (with the brush attachment on the steamer) and that mostly did the trick. I used them in my sewing room and they did darken the room enough for using a projector for pattern cutting. They look okay and for the money, and they would be a good budget option if that was the major consideration. Just need to put some time into steaming them.
I can't understand the positive reviews on this product. What they advertise is false. The only thing true about these curtains is that they are light blocking. They are so thin there is no soundproofing or insulation whatsoever.
