Love love love these curtains. They are truly blackout. Please note the color pearl is more like a very light gray. That worked out perfectly for me because my shades are exactly the same color. When closed along with my blackout shades, the room is pitch black. I will attached a pic with and without flash to show the effect. When I put my shades up, there is a very minimal sense of light through them. But I’d still buy them without shades.
These curtains absolutely do their job. I have a window that faces the rising sun so every morning it's shining directly on the bed. These curtains took all of that away making sleeping in more pleasant. You will have some light showing at the top or the bottom just because they are hung by grummets away from the wall. Also if you truly want to pitch black you should hang lines or a shade underneath them. But even curtains alone make a dramatic difference. They also insulate pretty well.
This extreme 100% blackout curtain absolutely lives up to its name! I purchased one 54x84 inch flax yellow panel. Te color is exactly as pictured and it completely covers the window without being tight. The material is sleek and a little shiny which makes it look very sophisticated and fancy. Its thick and well made and will definitely keep the cold winter air outside and keep the warmer air in. I love love love this curtain!!
The Sun Zero Theater grade 100% Blackout curtain panel I bought these Curtains for a window that gets full sun for most of the day so it gets warm even with central air. The panels have a nice weight and are lined in black fabric which adds to the blackout effect. I would estimate without the Curtains it's at least 5-10 degrees warmer in the space. These are truly 100% Blackout! I would highly recommend these Curtains.
I’ve been looking for the perfect black out thermal curtains and these are it!!! In the picture I left half of my old regular curtains up (left) for comparison next to the new ones (right). So look carefully. This is the coal color which can be considered black but a shade lighter. They come as a single packaged curtain so I need three more for the left side. This bay of windows faces south where the summer sun heats the windows up like a magnifying glass. As you can see these curtains are the real deal. ZERO light gets through. Plus! They are soft and smooth. There’s some wrinkles from packaging as expected but the material feels like the wrinkles will fall out on there own over time. I 100% recommended this brand and they are absolutely worth the money.
These are 100% light blocking curtains!! As a night shifter I needed something truly light blocking and didn’t want to spend tons of money so I figured I’d give these a try and they are amazing! Color isn’t true to picture but they are still beautiful so not gonna complain. They do let in a little bit of light at the bottom but that’s because they don’t go all the way to the floor which my old curtains were the same way.
Very pleased. I bought the Grey color. See picture of comparison with towel. You can say it is silver. Or elephant grey. Very nice! The Curtains are thick and very heavy. I am using a curtain rod made out of electrical conduit pipe to support weight without a middle bracket. The backside has a black liner. The front side has a slight shine that gives a luxurious feel / look. Grommets are pewter in color. I need to mount rod higher to block sun coming out from above. I purchased 3 to. cover 2 windows measuring 80 in. wide complete. It gives more material to play with pleats and look without them being stretched tight
True blackout curtains with a soft, stylish look. The quality is very nice and the grommets are sturdy. We put the flaxseed yellow ones up in our upstairs bonus room that gets direct sunlight in the afternoon, which normally brings the room temperature up. These look like they will definitely block out the sun and the heat. Extra bonus: they are machine washable.
The curtains are made of a very heavy fabric. The front of the fabric has a silky sheen to it, not like a satin, but silky none the less. The back of the curtain is covered in a thick black fabric that is absolutely 100% sunproof, lightproof, blackout. I held my curtain up to a spotlight. I couldn't see the spotlight through the curtain. Now, of course, the light does come through the grommets at the top of the curtain, but you can cover that with a curtain topper of your choice. The only thing that I don't like about these curtains is that they seem to attract dirt, dust and dog hair like crazy. I have a Plott hound-Mastiff-Rottweiler who drools more than he sheds, but his dog hair seems to want to be attracted to only those curtains and nothing else. I'm vacuuming the curtains with the wand attachments on a weekly basis. Other than that, I would highly recommend the curtains if you are looking for true blackout, theater, noise reduction (I forgot to mention that part. The noise from the streets below has decreased probably by 40% since I hung the curtains), and a decrease in heat (my bedroom feels cooler than it did prior to these curtains). The price was another great selling point. I was able get four panels to cover my bedroom window for the same price as 1 1/2 on Amazon or other online sellers.
Love these drapes perfect for night workers to sleep during the day. Fabric is good quality looks like expensive drapes. I would have given 5 stars except they come out of the package so wrinkled I have washed and ironed and still unable to get them all out.
