My need was to find a bathroom scale that I could keep up with my weight while going through a huge transition in my life and want it to get out of control and then Bird 2 my need was something I could see because I'm legally blind and I'm not very tall that tall enough to where the numbers have to be big enough for I can see him three because of transition I needed something that was affordable. These skills not only hit one two and three but it looks great nice sleep lines I chose the solid black color it contrasted well with the white dial so that I could see. I didn't have to spend much money it looks great in my bathroom and I can see it and keep track of what's going on with my body it's perfect.
I am disabled and struggled with the fancy digital scales. They tend to give the weight before I could get in position. With this old timey scale, I can get situated and actually see my weight (not that I want to) without difficulty. Very durable. I love them
let's start with - bathroom scale accuracy is never good. analog, digital, they're not reliable to small amounts. their close, but not exact. This has an adjustment on the bottom, let's you calibrate it. It doesn't exactly agree with the fancy scale at the gym, but close enough. i know if i'm gaining or losing. it looks nice, well made, a little retro, but good. feels well made also. for the price, it's great and I'm glad I bought it.
This product is light weight at the same time it is made to last. The weighing needle doesn't flicker while showing weight so you won't have 2 different readings a minute apart. And it is not battery operated which is a plus in my books.
I wasn't looking for anything fancy. I mostly wanted a scale with large numbers and a large dial. I got what I wanted. This scale is durable and is very light to pick up....another plus for me. I'm very happy with my scale. It's accurate, too.
Just want to know your day to day number, then this simple, easy to read scales is for you. Check the Walmart web page for the package deal I got that included a Digital Tape Measure. Easy to store, easy to balance on, wipe with a damp cloth. Buy it, what are you "weighting" for, know your number and keep it close. Really, the scale is your friend. Your heart and mind with thank you for it. :) If you prefer a digital read out then don't choose this one.
I like mechanical Scale (not battery scale) and this is the one I like. Need to do adjustment to "ZERO" before use it. Low price and serve to the purpose (body weight, airplane bag weight, etc) If people ask me about this Scale, I'm willing to recommend it
It does the job with as much accuracy as I need. I love that I don't have to worry about batteries or the humidity from the shower not making it work anymore.
Got this to keep track of the lbs during fitness. Sorry to say it was not accurate even after adjusting. Spend the money to get a bit better one. I through this one in the trash
Not accurate at all. There was some screaming when I initially got on, as it registered over 20 pounds heavier than my previous scale. Tested accuracy by holding 35 lb. pail of cat litter, scale added additional 40 pounds. Holding 2 pails added 80 pounds. So if every 35 lb. adds an additional 5 lb., there is a lot of math to be done to figure true weight. Probably better use for algebra class than in bathroom.
