The lid rest doesn't work well. When trying to use, it broke off.

Ive seen some review on here stating that people had a bad smell 1st time using. i have been through over 30 of these type pots in the last 11 years for my business, you absolutely need to wash it very well before you use it for the 1st time or yes there will be a smell. Also wipe out the inside layer to remove any dust or particles. i found this pot cooks super hot and works great. we purchased 2 and had no problems with either. hope this helps others with their decision. best of wishes out there world. wms

I bought this to cook beef tenderloin for Christmas. I cooked 2 six lb. loins in it %26 they fit perfectly. Any bigger %26 may be a problem. But it cooked them perfectly. I am happy with my purchase %26 the price point. I think it will be perfect to cook my turkey in next year. Highly recommend.

While my expectation may have been somewhat high, it was the big dent that the pan had because it is steel instead of ceramic. If it had a proper ceramic pot it would get a better rating.

My mom has a 22 qt Hamilton Beach slow roaster that she is capable of putting a 30 pound turkey inside of while having to put aluminum foil over the top and resting the lid on top of it. despite this saying it's 28 quarts, the base of it is smaller than the one my mom currently has. It's misleading to call this thing 28 quarts, because I'm convinced that the seller just adds the additional height of the lid into how many quarts that this thing can hold. when I read 28 quarts, I'm thinking about the lower part that actually cooks the food, not the lid included with it. The way this product was advertised made me think that it was going to be bigger.

I bought the roaster, which was advertised as a 28 quart roaster, for that reason..... I needed a 28 quart roaster for making large quantities of soup. It is not 28 quart, it's not much larger than the 22 quart roaster I already had. I am highly disappointed with the size and false advertising.

My prongs were burned off, couldn't even use it. Mine also came used. Lid was stained with grease film. Disgusting.

Walmart has the habit of advertising one item and then sending a different one to you. Or saying the item is not available. That statement has been my experience. Is the second time it has happened to me in the past year. It seems no mater what you search for on line walmart has it cheaper, but that just to get you to their site than they offer something else instead.

If this roaster had worked properly it would have been great. I loved the size, and we needed a new roaster to replace an old one. However, the thermostat seemed to be defective in this one because it was set on a low temperature to cook overnight, but instead, it cooked way too quickly because the temperature was much higher than it was set on.

Do not order from this company. They sent me the wrong brand and it was damaged as well. Also It is not the correct size I ordered! I am so upset! I tried to reach out the them and they sent me a fake email to respond to and have ,now, stopped answering me! I will not buy frim them again. I really needed this roaster for Thanksgiving! I am not well and this was supposed to be helpful. It has only caused me stress and disappointment.
