I BOUGHT THIS, NOT TO MOVE FURNITURE. I WANTED TO REPLACE A THERMAL BLANKET. THE THERMAL BLANKET FAILED TO O KEEP ME WARM. THIS HEAVY BLANKET ON MY BED STAYS IN PLACE AND I STAY WARM WHILE SLEEPING. THE FIRST ONE WAS FOR USE ON A HOSPITAL BED FOR MY WIFE. THE SECOND TWO WERE BOUGHT TO US ON A QUEEN SIZE BED. I GOT TWO KNOWING AN EXTENDED POWER FAILURE WAS HEADED MY WAY SOONER OR LATER.

Blankets were as advertised.

I've recently used 4 weighted moving blankets, these being the heaviest rated. I can feel the weight difference but can't feel the padding difference from the 65lb blankets. I would order again along with the 65lb rated ones. the 35- and 45-pound rated blankets are good to cover.

These blankets have a satisfying weight and rigidity to them. I've been using them to keep things organized and concealed in my trunk, and they do the job well. Everything stays neat and covered, and the size is generous. The one thing worth knowing before you buy: there are no care instructions included, and after some digging, I found out they're spot clean only and need to be air dried, not machine washable. It's not a dealbreaker, but it does mean you have to be more thoughtful about how you use them. I had plans to bring them camping and to picnics, and I still can, I just can't toss them around carelessly and expect a quick wash to fix it. If you go in knowing that, you'll be happy with them. Solid blankets, just not as carefree as I expected.

Use a mask before trying to pen packaging. Dust and fibers spray everywhere when cutting far too tight fasteners. Damaged first blanked as you cannot get scissors or a blade underneath without digging the blanket inside. So first blanket was damaged with holes. They are very thin and spread easily. I guess okay for one use. Would not order again.
