Always have liked ginger with the sugar

I love ginger root, because it is spicy, healthy and tastes good. This is an excellent organic product at an excellent discount of %50 off at the time of this review. My only somewhat negative qualm is the high sugar content, with the entire bag containing about 120 grams if you ate all 4 servings in the bag. I do understand that the ginger root is preserved by the sugar, thus eliminating the need for other, nastier preservatives; like sulfur dioxide; but still...I eat...so...MUCH of it at once....:/Overall, I do recommend this product. Swansons has a nice price. If you like ginger root and don't mind the sugar content, then here's an option to consider! WOOHOO! :D

I'm confused. This appears to be a gelled ginger candy covered in sugar. Not straight up ginger root that has been candied. There is none of the fiber inside the cubes I would expect from candied root. Am I wrong?

Just too sugary and too strong for me. However I found a way to use them in filtered water. great for sto.ach nausea

For me, nothing special...Moreover, it is a product in China. If I had known this I would not have bought it. as I do not buy any food that comes from China. I personally do not trust food from China, no matter who is selling it.

I am a person that eats ginger all the time, and some is better than others. I'm sorry to say that this ginger smelled like beer when I opened the bag, and doesn't have the nice taste that I like. It comes from China, which I didn't notice when I bought it, even tho Swansons does have it shown. I have two more bags of this, but will not order it in the future. Bought some Now brand, the same day, and it is delightful!

I wanted to like this, right price point, better value - - but I prefer REED's. The texture is better and compels me to keep eating. The large, grainy crystals of sugar on the outside of these along with the texture were a turn off & made it easy to not over indulge.\n\nOut of the bag as a snack, I'll keep eating REED's, but in recipes i'll happily use this.

This product didn't meet my expectations. First of all the pieces in the package had two colors, a dark and light color.The taste wasn't like real ginger, the darker pieces tasted awful. I expected much better for an organic product. maybe I was unfortunate to get a bad package but based on my experience I would not recommend it to anyone.

Nothing special. Not worth buying
