This product can be very hard to source locally. I take this daily. I started searching for a product that would help strengthen my muscles. this product does help, but as a side effect: I find my skin and hair have changed for the better as well. My hair is shiny and silky again. My skin has a youthful glow again without make-up. The texture of my skin is better. I feel I am really giving my body the nourishment it requires to be healthy.

In an article, Dr. Mercola said that DHEA would not be effective if taken orally as opposed to another method, so I quit. About 2 weeks later, I noticed that my energy and overall libido was lacking. I started my DHEA again and I am back to normal! I will not go without and I will continue to take orally!!

I seem to be feeling stronger since I started taking this product. I'm 46 years old, I weigh 313 lbs and I can do 60 push ups. (4 sets of 15 reps) I wasn't able to do that when I was 30 and I weighed 235 lbs. I can't wait to see what I'll be doing once I reach my weight goal of 230 lbs. BTW I can also do 60 hindu squats, and 15 hindu push ups, and 30 leg raises non of which I could do when I was 30 years old. I love this stuff! These are no big feats by any means, however I haven't worked out in 15 years.

I have used this DHEA for a few months. It has a very positive effect. My body does become immune to the effects of vitamins and supplements after a couple months usage, and this has done the same. Someone who does that have this problem will be well please with this product. A very noticeable effect with the male drive.

The tablet is large and tends to stick in my throat. I have taken over half the bottle and have not noticed much of an effect. Perhaps it takes longer than 2 weeks to notice any benefit. Still if the pills were smaller, and less prone to stick in my throat I would much more cofortable to continue using the DHEA to help increase my HGH.

Agree fully with review of a month ago by Doc0430. Photos are indeed of the old product. I just finished bottle of new problem and found same results as Doc0430. The caps are very small and really don't see to have much effect. I have since switched to another well known brand at about the same cost and strength and in 3 days noticed an immediate improvement. Suggest Swansons get this new product lab tested to insure that ingredients are actually what they indicate and are the same formula as the old product shown in the photo.

The size of the capsule's changed recently from an average size to a much smaller size. I gave it little thought, until a few week's later I realized that the physical effect on my body was no longer there. I tried to think what I had changed in my diet to cause the change. I searched all aspects of my daily routine, the change in the pill size is the only thing I could come up with that "might" be the reason for my physical effective change.

I began with 50mg/day of this DHEA. After taking it for about 4 months I felt no change and increased the amount to 100mg/day for 8 months. After 1 year my blood work showed my DHEA-S level was 262.6 ug/dL. Optimal DHEA-S for a male is 400-500 ug/dL. I switched brands and took micronized DHEA 50mg/day for 5 months. My most recent blood work showed my DHEA-S level was 527.9 ug/mL. Micronized DHEA from Europe appears to be more effective at bringing DHEA-S levels into the optimal range.

I have used this in the past, and when they changed the capsules I noticed they no longer gave me the same benefits as before. My most recent blood work confirmed what I already thought, my test levels were back in the tank. The photo of the capsules is of the old version, the new version is a fraction of this size now, and it would be physically impossible to have the same 100mg in a cap this small. I wouldn't mind paying more if it was still the old version, seeing as that worked!
