Just Like Grandma Used To Make!

Jackie March 18, 2026

If I could give this Sweet Sue Chicken and Dumplings higher than a 5 star, I would. The cans are packed full and can easily feed 2-4 people, with sides, depending on their appetite and size, of course. I would buy 2 just in case. Make some mashed potatoes and a veggie on the side with bread and butter, and it's a meal that would taste just like grandma used to make. There's plenty of chicken and those delicious thick and pasty flat dumplings. So good! It's not salty at all and has a great chicken flavor. We have these a few times a year. I definitely recommend these.

Good for a canned product

Melinda January 18, 2026

Ordered two pack of cans and one can, (though it was completely sealed and not dented), only had 1/3 or less of the ingredients in it. So weird that they were packed together and the person packing them would not have noticed. Either way, Walmart gave immediate refund. This has been a good product for years and the large cans are much handier for multiple meals. Still a little expensive, not for a low sodium diet choice.

Really good stuff

maria February 1, 2026

I love chicken and dumplings, sweet Sue is really good, my granddaughter now enjoys it! if I can't finish the large can I put extra in a freezer bag or container and freeze until another time. No waste of this product, nice flavor and texture. Thank you for the quick deliveries. Have a good week 😊

Great For Eating Latter

Anonymous September 17, 2025

When I bought this size can of the Sweet Sie's Chicken %26 Dumplings, I was thinking this was a smaller can, but everything worked out. I just put what I had left over, in a bowl with a lid, sat in the refrigerator for the next day.

Great a quick supper. I don't feel like cooking a big dinner instead of me making my homemade chicken and dumplings. I will open a candy and make some mashed potatoes and we have a good dinner.

This was something I had never purchased, just always made from scratch. Well first, the soupy part of this was very liquidy. It was like water thin. So I added a can of cream of chicken, it was perfect after that. Also threw in some shredded carrots. The dumplings were really good. I would purchase this again.

I have eaten sweet sue since a teenager. appears to me over the years dumplings have decreased, chicken way less than I remember. I put a can of chicken breast in and heat in oven.

Heavily Processed Chicken

anonymous February 8, 2025

Had not had this in a while so did not realize that the "chicken" used was the type that was processed into a paste then remolded and cut into pieces rather than the real chicken that I remembered. This "chicken" had a weird texture and a bad aftertaste. The dumplings were good and would have been much better without the added chicken

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE COMPONANIES.

Sterling April 26, 2026

Used to be one of my favorites 20 years ago. Now its Awful. waste of money. Def. a recipe change. opened this can and a WAD of fused together dough fell out i assumed to be dumplings. spent the next 15 mins with a fork, then a knif trying to seperate them onlyvto spit it all out of my mouth after warming and attempting to eat.

Read the back Label before buying.

Deborah February 11, 2026

Since they would not let me pick this up, they delivered it. I ordered 2 cans. NEVER again. The front of the can looks great and says made from scratch with white chicken. Then i read the back label. At the bottom it says BIOENGINEERED Food Products. Needless to say, i fed it to my dogs. People make sure and read your Labels. I am throwing the other can in the trash because i don't even want to give it to my Dogs. I will never buy this, or any other product made by this company again.!!
