I must play on silent, extremely loud. pricepoint is unreasonable but it's the best tamagotchi game available. battery life is short, have to charge it about every other day at least. soft scratchable screen, get a protector. otherwise works exactly as expected, it's cute and fun.
perfect for the tamagatchi lovers, the fact it's rechargeable is amazing. so far it's lasted a week on one charge. takes only 90 min to charge fully too.
The color screen is vibrant, and the pixel art is really charming and smooth — a big step-up from older, simpler Tamagotchi units. You can play in several languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Japanese!
My daughter loves her tamagotchi uni. The sounds are a little annoying but you have the option to mute them which is nice. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fun gift.
I an adult %26 remember when Tamagotchi first came out %26 had one. This is what the game was meant to be like all along. Slightly bigger, USB chargeable (comes with a cable that's only about 2 or 3 inches long) everything is in color, more games, more evolutions, can decorate house %26 Tamagotchi itself. Lots of different foods %26 snacks, but be carful, I gave mine deep dish pizza once %26 now that's its favorite food (it has to be bought from the delivery food service!). Wi-Fi capable, can use with your phone, adjustable brightness %26 sound; even has a baby sitter. Haven't figured it all out yet %26 the main drawback I have, is that the print is so tiny that I can't even read it with my glasses on, so I've got to have my son read it for me. I don't think the age range recommendation starting at 6 years old is appropriate because this version the Tomas can go on dates %26 get married.
ive tried all the tamagotchis thru the years, and this ones at the top of the list! So many features, you can put 4 items of clothing on your tamagotchi, each pet you hatch has a different personality; like shy, coy, playfuk, etc. so cute! A must try!
This is a fun colour tamagotchi. Lots of variety: Lot of items to play with like the Connections and other colour tamagotchis. The characters have different personalities based on how you raise them so there are things like favourite foods and toys to discover. The tama walk is sort of a pedometer that runs for 20 minutes at a time. It's used to collect items to colour your accessories (if that's your thing) but also counts toward care goals if you're trying to aim for a specific character. The tama search feature is similar to Pokémon Go where you walk around to find Wi-Fi signals and it will discover a tamagotchi friend. From here, they give you a sticker/award. The DLC content tends to have some interesting animation, a unique game, and a shop with unique items and accessories. Games that vary during the seasons and monthly events. There are a few things I don't like: First is the rechargeable battery. It is inevitable that it will go bad within a few years and make the toy useless unless you have some soldering skills to replace the battery. The servers for the Tamaverse will eventually go offline. When this happens all your DLC will go away and the last one you purchased is the one that will remain on your device. This also means there is limited storage space for your DLC. You can only choose one at a time. Grinding for gotchi points is a bit annoying for the regular games as you only get $300 at a time. The DLC games give you $600. You cannot skip the tutorial for the games which shows every time you start the game. This makes trying to grind for the points annoying. Like all the colour tamagotchis, the screen will scratch easily. This necessitates the use of a screen protector film. You can buy a generic for a phone/table and cut to fit or buy a pre-cut one for a few dollars more. Very expensive for what it is. The newer Paradise is almost half the cost, is larger, and is also in colour. Overall, it is fun, but pricey and a few things that aren't the best design decisions. If you're a tamagotchi fan you will enjoy it, but if you want something with less maintenance and complexity the Paradise is a better choice.
It's alright, I guess. it's a step down from the uni in most ways. i'd say the biggest complaint is it doesn't feel like Tamagotchi, it feels pretty generic and they've sucked out a fair bit of the personality and charm. i'd suggest an old one for a more simple experience and finding the Uni while you still can for a modern one.
I absolutely love Tamagotchi collecting, and getting hands of the uni was pretty difficult. Finding one here made things amazing, especially for a good price. However, the faceplate unfortunately came with scratches, so I ended up buying a different one to replace it. Everything else worked perfectly fine.
The item had a scratch on the screen and marks on the wristband, as if it's been used before. It looked like the item was put back into its box and taped shut. Pretty insane this seller has the audacity to sell a used product marked up for such a crazy price and not even disclose that it's used.
