Tasty Bite Organic Basmati Rice 8.8oz - Fragrant basmati rice

This is handy for black bean burgers or soups. Rice seems to be touchy without a rice cooker and using long grain. Perfect Everytime with this. It is not par cooked, it is ready to roll!

Truly tasty, not too spicy, but not bland either. People on low sodium diets need to examine contents before preparation. Cooking each dish is easy and generally trouble free! I will be eating this one frequently.

I was nervous about buying this type of rice before. It just seemed weird to buy cooked rice off the shelf, but I was nicely surprised. This rice turned out excellent, moist, and very tasty! I highly recommend!

I prefer this rice over any other in the store. I actually go out of my way and pay a little more for it because the texture is pillowy a doesn’t disappear within the curry. Love!

while it was quick to prepare, that was all I can say on this product's behalf. texture was inconsistent. some grains were done, but firm. others were overdone and mushy. there wasn't the basmati aroma i'm accustomed to, and was also lacking in basmati flavor as well.

gross, it should not have had the consistency it felt like just by handling the bag. there was a fowl order coming from the bag as well that appeared to be sealed but upon further inspection it had been punctured or broken at the seam on the very bottom which caused the rice to liquify and turn to a soupy consistency. i could tell there was a problem by just the feel of the bag. be very careful when you are depending on someone else to shop for you and your family. take the extra minute and inspect your items. im not suggesting that the shopper is responsible for damaging the item for my online order. most likely considering the odor already emanating from the bag it seems reasonable that it was chosen off the shelf with damage already. perhaps in the future to anyone taking their precious time to provide service like this to take a few extra minutes to do some quality control on any food items as they would when shopping for themselves. thank you for reading

smells like the inside of a barn, or cow manure. I'm not sure what causes the smell, but it was so strong i had to toss it in the garbage almost immediately after cooking, and scrub the smell out of my hands. easy to make, but not worth it.

We got these just recently and tried them for the first time. Cooked two bags and they both had ROTTEN rice in the center! I mean, dark grey/black globs of rice in both pouches. And they smelled horrible. 0/10, do not recommend

Organic or not, we did not expect Canola Oil and/or Soybean Oil to be listed among the ingredients. Minute brand makes microwavable Basmati Rice cups that are not organic, but contain only sunflower oil and sunflower lecithin, so we donated this and will stick with those. Shame on Tasty Bite.
