[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately forgot to take a photo of this after plating it but it's a solid, make it in your microwave option for when you're craving Indian food. It's even vegan, kosher and gluten free if those are factors that are important to you! I will say that it mixes better if you heat it up over the stove. But if you're pressed for time and on the go, a microwave works perfectly fine too. This is convenience at its best honestly. If you take a look at the ingredients list, it's relatively clean. A lot of the ingredients are even organic! A steal for what this retails for! For me personally, it wasn't as spicy as I'd like but I say that about everything lol. This would be the right amount of kick for somebody that's not accustomed to Indian food. I'd say the best way to prepare it is save it for when you have a little bit more time on your hands and access to a stove, dump the whole packet into a pot, wait about 5-10 minutes for it to heat up and properly mix together, and then pour the entire thing into a container to eat throughout the week. It's a better way to store it vs portioning it out by one meal and saving the rest in the packet.

To cook it in the microwave is very easy, fast and convenient with just keeping it in its package and microwaving it. It does have a very fragrant scent. Its not spicy or anything while eating, I did end up adding salt to my taste. This is decent to try if you haven't tried anything like it in the past.

I would compare it to the ease of minute rice. Enjoyed it paired with rice and chicken. Received a pack of 1 not 6 so docking points for inaccuracy but all in all would recommend.

But for those who enjoy authentic flavours, I found this to be a bit one the sweet side, and lacked a lot of spice & some heat. I tweaked this with some extra garam masala powder, some chili flakes, a bit more liquid, as out of the package, it was a little dry. Turned out ok!
