I use this thermometer to check the internal temperature of gluten free bread. It works great I have not had a soggy disaster since using this device. It's accurate, quick and convenient. Very pleased.

Both F-C temp readings. which is perfect for my Chemical photo lab applications. The machine measures everything out in Celsius so I use this to double check the actuals and verify the internal readings are accurate. have tenth degree accuracy was critical for me and this nails it. Easy to operate, easy to read for these tired old eyes. I only with it auto shut off, some times I forget to turn it off. But I'm still on the original batteries. Great tool

I buy these and give away as presents to people who have older, non-efficient thermometers. I use it in the kitchen for everything. Never over cook anything again. You won't be disappointed. Just be careful you don't submerge in water cleaning it. Not waterproof.

This is the second time I have used this on chicken. Both times the chicken thigh has registered 195 and in different parts of the thigh. Yet, when we set down to eat--there's still blood in the thigh!!! Am I doing something wrong?

This thermometer is very difficult to calibrate. Right out of the package it was ten degrees off and I have been unable to calibrate it. The directions are no help either.

This item looked very nice right out of the package, but it does not work correctly. It does not read the correct temperature at all. Very disappointing.

It read 10 degrees off and I was unable to recalibrate it so I returned it and got a Taylor 9848E that is working very well and has nice additional features.
