Tazo, Awake English Breakfast Black Tea, Tea Bags, 20 Ct

I was first introduced to this tea in 2004-2009 when I was a Starbucks employee as a college student. Back then, it was my favorite tea brand, and my favorite black tea in general. Over the years I have stopped buying it on and off, but anytime I decide to cut down on my coffee intake, this is my go to tea! I have consistently bought it in bulk so that I always have a stash for my pantry. I usually add some honey

This is the best black tea I've ever had. To me, sweet or no, it has almost a honey after taste. I love it.

The Awake tea is the best. Its strong but not too bitter. Just the right amount of bitter. I drink it once in the morning and once in the afternoon to keep me going. I put nothing in it, so its a great zero calorie drink.

Received this from a coworker, she saw I drank a lot of tea(which is an understatement). Loved it from the first cup, it wakes me right up !! Good for anytime of day when you need a boost. I was a very faithful Earl Grey drinker and tried all of the varieties in that line up, but I have a new favorite.

I switched to tea as a means to my morning or afternoon pick-me-up after drinking coffee most my life. Trouble with many teas is the kick is much more mellow than even the weakest cup of joe. TAZO Awake gives me that pep in my step I expect from coffee without any of the carcinogens you consume in coffee. Flavor is very agreeable, doesn't even need sweetener. Steep as directed. Over steeping will give off almost a metallic flavor. If you're an avid tea drinker, you know this already!

Due to recent health concerns I've decided to switch from coffee to tea. I needed something to wake me up like coffee did. I saw Tazo Awake as I was browsing the teas offered at Walmart.com and figured the name itself sounded promising. Upon 1st use with having just a single tea bag , no sugar or milk I just didn't care for it. But, use 2 tea bags, a teaspoon of sugar and a little whole milk and WOW this stuff is good. It wakes me up and keeps me awake until I can get moving.

Flavor is good and I wanted more caffeine. However, I will be back to Bigalow English Breakfast tea after this box is gone for the price and taste. If I want to pay more, I'll go with an organic, fair trade instead.

Tazo has re-branded this and now calls it Awake - english breakfast tea. It does not taste the same. It's missing the "bite" of the old version.
