TCL 12,000 Btu - 550 Sq ft Window Air Conditioner, White

So far so good! We've had this ac unit, 10,000 BTU, for a month or so in our living room/dining room/kitchen area and it's worked very well here i waaay south Texas. Very easy to install as it is a 110 unit, so definitely plug and play kinda thing. I like the ECO button so it will turn off/on at a set temp. Even though it works well where it is right now, we are moving this ac unit to a smaller room and buying a 14,000 BTU for the larger room. I have no doubts that the 10,000 btu will do very well in the 12x10ft bedroom, plus hallway and bathroom where we are moving it. Great price!

Was in dire need of an air conditioner. Walmart delivered and my grandson installed with no problems. It works great....keeps humidity at a low level and cools almost all of my house. Have 1,100 square feet and has no problem keeping up. I highly recommend. Can't

This is an early review as it has only been running for 12 hours, but so far so good! The temperature differential between room temp (77f) and refrigerated air from a/c vent (50f) was -27 degrees! I purchased to help out an old and failing central a/c unit which ran nearly 24/7 to cool 900sq ft down to 70-72f, and with this 12k btu window unit, temperature dropped to 69f within a few hours. It seems built well enough. Time will tell how this thing holds up.

Easy to install, even for 1 person. It cooled my 600 sqft living room quickly!, fully within an hour and extended its reach into other rooms in the house gradually through the night. I slept so comfortably! I'm pleasantly surprised with the Eco mode. It adjusts to the room temperature so it doesn't just run all day! Very happy with this purchase.

Much smaller than I thought! Definitely cools a 350sq ft room without even changing the fan speed. The remote is ok, and the Wi-Fi is too complicated to set up with a newer smartphone. But since its summer, it will be running 24/7 for the next 3 months.

I purchased a week ago my landlord installed it on sunday it is not working on friday. This is Death Valley I need air condtioner. this was fairly quiet, cold, I really liked it. I dont know why it started beeping %26 raising the temp. , remote doesnt turn it on now. I tried reset does the samething I have return but the landlord must have taken 1 panel extender and the foam things when he took the box.I have to return it. I would buy the same one it could just this one that something was wrong with it worked for 5 days.

We bought this unit on June 23 2025 to help our central AC during the heat wave . Once installed in our window we noticed inside the styrofoam cut but didn't know if it was supposed to be or not (still don't know) . Now the push button screen will not work and unable to turn off nor any other buttons work. Out of no where it changed the settings to 88 degrees . The only way to turn off is remote or unplug . I just waisted close to $300 for this .

this unit is so noisy when the compressor kicks on and off you can't sleep with it running in a bedroom. when it rains it blows water through the vents on you while you're trying to sleep. June bugs and other insects come through the fan as there is some type of inadequate closure between the interior of the unit and the exterior. I have been trying to get them to come look at it for a month now and they keep telling me to send more pictures and videos and tell me that the noise level is within range of operating. I will never buy another TCL product again.

the unit keeps cycling on and off on and off on and off it never stays on that the compressor turns on runs for 1 minute and then it recycles off and then it turns on again keeps going on and off on and off all day long would not recommend it

The delivery person left the air conditioner on my porch upside down. Anyone with more than 2 braincells should know that this damages air conditioners.
