Cacao is like cocoa, the main difference is that it's a tiny bit more bitter because it's raw, rather than roasted or processed with alkali. this means it's a healthier choice, because it has a lot more intact nutrients. Any time I can claim chocolate is a health food, I feel like I'm winning. Photo is making sugar-free, dairy-free brownies with it. The brownies were delightful! Aside from that, I make hot chocolate with it daily. I add a bit of cocoa butter so it tates more like actual chocolate. That way I'm not having ANY added sugar/sweetener (since "chocolate" is basically cocoa or cacao, cocoa butter, and sugar). Yay :)
