The Allswell Luxe 12" Medium Firm, Hybrid Mattress, Cal King, Adult

i am a big bodied person so i was really hesitant at first when I was looking for a new mattresss, I found this one and I'm so glad I didn't let the small amount of negative reviews steer me away. It is a great bed at a low cost. I 100% recommend! For context so it will help someone else my size- I am over 400 pounds. So my weight is up there. If you're also my size, I hope you'll take my word for it! It is a great bed I slept so good.

I regretted buying this bed when I first got it. I thought this is going to be too firm. The bed I'd had before was soft and comfy. I don't think I knew what bed my body wanted. I feel so good and rested every morning. I've had it about 3 weeks but the only bad thing I can say is I'm now having problems waking up to my alarm

My Allswell Brick came earlier than expected, which was a plus! It unboxed easily and inflated completely pretty much as soon as the shrink wrap was off. I left it alone for 48 hours but probably could have slept on it sooner. It's firm but it has a plush top so it's the perfect combo of supportive but comfortable. I'm on the lighter side at 5'7" and 120 so it is definitely firm enough for me. I do not sink into it at all, which is what I was hoping for. It had zero off-gassing smell. None at all and I'm pretty sensitive. I love this bed.

We orderd this mattress after a recommendation from a friend and after suffering sleepless nights for years on our old mattress we FINALLY slept like babies on this mattress. 10/10 recommend. "Due to a back issue, I was no longer able to sleep on our bed and had moved into the guest room until we could find a new mattress. I researched beds designed for larger people and the Allswell ""Brick"" was receiving some pretty positive reviews. We've spent a lot of money on mattress' in the past and I'm convinced a high dollar doesn't always mean a better product. So, only had this product a few weeks, but it seems great. We got the luxe extra firm, full size. Our mattress was fully expanded within minutes -- my kid slept on it happily within 2 or 3 hours after opening. No real chemical smell. It is pretty heavy. The extra firm is not too firm, there's still some nice cushion on top. Will try to update after a year or so to see if it's still going strong.

I brought this bed based on the numerous reviews praising the bed as a cheap but worthy contender. The bed feels soft to me, I am plus size. it feels medium to my husband who weighs less only 175. The cover on it is plush and when you first lay on it, it feels good but after a couple hours you sink. We have a spilt King and went with another bed from that other big big online store with the bed having the same name as the store, like the river in South America. It was $100 cheaper much firmer. I just don't like the cover. Interestingly there are both made by the same manufacturer "New York Bed". Overall if you are looking for a soft- medium bed this could fit the bill. If you are looking for a true medium firm, find something else.

The 12 inch hybrid luxe mattress looks nice. However it is extremely soft and side edges lack any support to the point one may roll off the mattress if you sleep close to the edge. At my weight (150 pounds) the side of the mattress almost collapses completely when I sit on the edge to stand. I bought Amazon basics twin mattress at the same time. It is much firmer with very good support around the edges. Allswell was not what I expected. Disappointed.

This is advertised as an Extra Firm mattress, but I would rate it as a Medium at best. It seems to be well made, but there is no edge support, so sitting on the edge of the bed, it depresses almost half way. It meets all the criteria of a well made mattress except for its firmness rating. Consumer Reports rates this as an OK mattress, but they did not test the Extra Firm. After five nights of use, there was a tendency to depress/roll towards the middle of the mattress. If you need an Extra Firm mattress, look elsewhere.

This mattress was very firm yet not supportive. If you sat on the end, you would most slide off as there wasn’t any support. I tried putting different pads on it but it didn’t have any support and I woke up with my back hurting most mornings. I’m usually and back and side sleeper and like a softer mattress.
