The American Spirit Sport Whistle

I really like this USA made whistle! I find it to be loud and easy to blow. The silicone guard is nice touch to protect teeth and lips cold or not! Was turned on to American Whistle Corp Whistle by Greg Gutfeld Show doing factory tour. Bought several for family as an added layer of safety! From getting turned around in woods to unwanted solicitation in parking lot...Real Life and this noise maker made the difference of being found quickly as well as getting rid of a jerk! Biggest DISAPPOINTMENT is Wal-Mart nearly doubling the price in less a year! Guess Wal-Mart C-19 profiteering extends to all products, even whistles. :(

I found these on clearance the other day. They are fantastic. Super loud whistle blow. I bought them because I thought it may be perfect for safety such as in my purse like when I'm out by myself, or in the dark walking ect. But most importantly, I bought for my children, because God forbid an accident happens or they are stuck in the car, they can reach for the whistle to let the world know they are inside the car and need help. Great tool to have for anything, especially safety!

this thing is ear piercing LOUD. if you're looking for a protection whistle for walking/hiking, kayaking, this one is definitely LOUD.

I honestly do not understand the reason for a negative review. I'm a referee at an "Olympics style" party every year and these are perfect. Yes I'm not a professional ref but these are just fine. I don't really understand how they can be any better honestly. I prefer the metal one since I feel more official with it. :)

Bought this for a safety kit for a friend and chose to buy the American product. Haven't tried it but it looks as good or better than the other whistles we saw. Good price.

Nothing special...its whistle

This is a terrible whistle. It takes way too much energy to make a noise. I shouldn't have to take a huge breath to blow into the whistle to make it make a noise. The noise it makes is very weak, even on a full breath. I am outside for recess duty and this just did not do the job. It is such a wimpy sound that the students can barely hear. I wish I could return it but I have already put my mouth all over it.
