This is what I would consider a medium heavy product. If your hair is thin or your curls are very fine this may be too heavy or sticky for your hair. I love it for my 4B curls it reduces frizz and add some weight to my hair, which I like.

This is by far the best topper gel for the perfect wash and go. Pop Lock coupled with The Doug's 808 base gel will have your wash n gos frizz free and stands up to any kind of weather. THE BEST TOPPER GEL ON THE MARKET!!!

This product has great hold and can last 5-7 days with pineappling at night. I have 3c,4a, and 4b and it curls all 3 textures.

I love this product !!

It gave a very strong hold for my type 4c curls in summer. I used Uncle Funky's daughter curly magic under it to prevent dryness. It worked beautifully and I 100% recommend. It does have a strong menthol/chemical smell while your hair is wet but the smell goes away the next day so I don't mind.

I found this product difficult to work with as you need to move fast because it become hard very quickly and I found it especially difficult to rake it through my hair bc of how fast it started to dry and harden. I suspect that the reason it claims to last 5 days is because of how hard and crunchy it becomes once dry. I didn't expect that and wasn't a huge fan of the crunchy cast it left on my hair. I washed it out the next morning but plan to try it on smaller sections at a time in the future just to give it a second chance.
