The First Berserker Khazan (PlayStation 5)

Its a soulslike experience. The game runs super smooth. Its very hard but rewarding. Worth all the money. Its kinda linke sekiro but also different in a good way. The story is interesting. There is no stutter and movement is perfect. I would highly recommend this game.

Interesting and abundant loot style. Graphics are beautiful, sound effects and music are good. Combat is very fun and fulfilling to learn, blocking, dodging, countering are abundant. Bosses are hard sometimes. I love the weapons, they are very fun and look awesome. Levels are pretty good looking as well. Storyline is just OK. I've enjoyed playing this game so far, especially the action.

This has ended up being one of my favorite games of all time. It is a souls like, so do not get this if you do not like extremely challenging games. Other experts say that this is similar to Nioh and Sekiro. I put over 100hrs in it and got my platinum trophy. I only platonum a game if i really love it. I also rarely pay full price for a game, but this one is worth it if you like these type of games. My favorite games are Elden Ring, any God of War, and Khazan. The graphics are somewhat anime, so that wasnt my favorite, but it didnt hurt my rating of this game. The combat is one of the best out there. It is punishing until you get the hang of it, but so rewarding when you do.

Fantastic game. Immediately the art style and anime inspired combat hit you. It is drop-dead gorgeous. It sways in the easier side (I played on normal difficulty but here is a hard difficulty) but still has some challenging boss fights. Please do yourself a favor and play this game if you are a fan of the souls series. Well worth the price of admission.

This game is the best Soulslikes I've ever played outside of the actual Souls series. The art direction is incredible and unique and the combat is fluid and challenging but fair. Highly recommended!

This game is good for those that like a challenge in the genre. After 200 hours I started a ng using my second of three weapon choices. Still having fun.

This highly recommended soulslike flew under my radar but I am so glad to have come across positive comments online. Now that I have it, I couldn't recommend it more myself.

Was very pleasantly surprised with this title. Tight and responsive combat, epic fights and plenty of abilities and build options to choose from that suit your playstyle. I personally chose the dual wield weapon for its high mobility and its fast paced attacks but at the expense of defense. I found that the game has a somewhat steep learning curve, but once you master the game mechanics (skills, parrying, perfect dodging) and get the hang of the combat loop, nothing feels more satisfying. Aside from combat, I feel like the level design is somewhat unimaginative and pretty basic. I also wished there were more enemy variety (besides the bosses). The game took me around 40 hours to complete, which mileage can obviously vary. Overall, an impressive and commendable entry in the soulslike genre. If you're still unsure there is a demo you can try out to see if the game is for you.

My only major complaint is that most of the level design is kinda boring. A couple of levels had some fun gimmicks and secrets, but for the most part it was all pretty straightforward. The story is nothing amazing either but its fine its gets invested enought to want to see it through. Overall the game is good combat is fun with varied encounters, lots of different builds to make, the bosses are excellent, and I really like the art style but the whole cell shaded anime look might not be everyone's cup of tea.
