Make a fist, turn palm up and curl your fist towards your elbow. Do the same, palms down. Either way, you work two muscles. But, using this flex thingy and torquing your wrists at an angle - you work four muscles. Unless you are a Latin scholar, the names of these muscles are unimportant. What is important is this piece of rubber allows you to exercise and strengthen muscles you do use in everyday activities and some sports ( i.e., racquetball). 3 sets. A torque in both direction counts as 1 rep. Maximum torque. 2 count on the isometric. 4 count on the negative. Feel the burn. Bottom line, this allows a person to work another set of muscles if you are in to that sort of thing.
Wow! It's INCREDIBLY helpful for all parts of my body, even hair. I used it a lot since it was delivered today. Helpful for hand and feet massage. I also beat myself lightly with it due to muscle tension and the relief was instant. I beat myself on the legs, neck, shoulder, scalp, and even face. The tension relief is so helpful! This bar is THICKER and STRONGER than the red one. I got both and like both but this one is MIGHTY in thickness and strength
excellent ordered four got two so far. my OT therapist love I work so hard. I buy all of my PT an OT love it. Walmart has a large selection of physical therapy
What can I say. It is a Thera Bar used for physical therapy. I needed it for my at home exercises. There is an insert that shows a couple of ways to use it.
I used one of these for 3 months in a rehab facility after getting whacked by a car, and bought one when I got home. It works your wrists and grip much better than the hand squeeze devices.
finally, I got some relief from my tennis elbow. this thing has been amazing, the only thing I've ever tried that actually works. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and when I work out my elbow does not hurt anymore.
item as advertised. i returned this one because the green one was the right amount of eesistance that I needed. great if starting to recover from tennis elbow.
Service and delivery was excellent. Products are of high quality and would recommend to family and friends.
Quite clever. Great feel in the hand. Very solid. Twisting the item using both hands is a pleasant and grip %26useful
Just arrived… product is dirty, packaging is opened, item is stained all over and NASTY TO TOUCH, they said they were going to deliver yesterday but did not
