I switched from gel packs to ThermiPaqs because they last longer and are more durable. The gel packs almost always developed leaks after little use, but I've never had a clay pack that leaked. ThermiPags can be heated or frozen, depending on need. I've been using them for years for post surgery care and bumps and bruises, and they work great. I still have my original two from years ago and just ordered two more because now there are more people using them in my household.

The Thermapack ice pack works very well for back pain. The size is just right for the back and it stays cool for a good amount of time.

I use this pack for low back pain and like it better than the smaller ones I had been using. In my opinion, it would be 5 stars if it had a little more coolant material inside, because it warms back up a little faster than I'd like. Only had it a week or so, so I can't comment on durability.

it's very easy to use and convenient due to its mouldablitt but it doesn't stay cool for long. after 1 hour in the freezer I could only get about 20 mins I had to use it without its cover to get more out of it. so you can't sleep with it

the elastic to hold this on is very short, so it fits tight and uncomfortable; it's also very narrow, so cuts into your skin~~it should have a much bigger and more comfortable wrap!
